It has a good infrastructure, but don't let it fool you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good for a government college. Classrooms are very comfortable. Labs are well-equipped. The hostel has proper provisions. The library is spacious. Overall, the infrastructure is the best thing about this college. One downside is that the air conditioners don't work in the college, but it's a fully centralised air-conditioned college. Without windows and improperly working fans, it does feel like a furnace. There is no proper playground.
Faculty: Teachers are constantly changing, but we have had the best teachers, especially in the first year. They really keep the college and hospital running. We don't have enough patients at all when compared to other medical colleges, and it makes learning so difficult here. That's the major downside to our college, and if you have other options, you better take them because nothing can replace experience. If this is your only choice, you don't need to worry because faculty members overcompensate by teaching anyway.
Other: Only one batch has passed out. Some people do really well. I feel like securing a NEET PG or learning appropriate skills depends more on the person than what the college has to offer. Some people have taken PG in their first attempt. If you take full advantage of the resources available here, you can crack NEET and other exams or just be confident. There are not many extra-curricular activities or events taking place. We still have our own fun and take part in competitions with other colleges. We do organise small events within ourselves to lighten the mood. I really wish that our hospital could open up to the public because a lack of patients is the most serious problem here. Overall, it is a good place to be.
