What a massive 200 acres of a medical college has to give to its MBBS students.

Placements: As it is a medical college, no medical placements takes place. However, according to data, in 2017, a total of 11 students achieved ranks under AIR 1000 in NEET PG and in 2018, 12 students fetched ranks under AIR 1500 in NEET PG. Many of these were admitted in prestigious PG institutes like AIIMS Jodhpur and GMC Nagpur itself.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and would like my juniors to join the college.

Placements: A total of nearly 80-90% of people graduating from GMC Nagpur get a package of roughly 10-12 lakhs per annum. Jobs offered are MOships, HOships etc. You can work as a medical officer in any private medical college. In my opinion, doing an MBBS from any college be it private or deemed, will always yield you a good amount of income and respect as well.

Satisfied as per learning point of view.

Placements: I am from 2016 batch MBBS and will complete my MBBS in 2022. Salary as a stipend is paid by Andhra Pradesh rox 11k in internship. We are currently 200 students in my batch. We opt for MD/MS after our course to get higher education, in our field. Most of the students join private coaching for cracking entrance required for PG.

I am happy to be a part of such an institute.

Placements: All my seniors are well settled in their fields of interest. Almost 100% of students get placements. Healthcare is a must needed field for any society. Students get to be HO, MO or PG depending on the seats available. Packages offered are good enough. But, it is not good considering the work.

It’s good to be there in a medical college that nourishes a young childish personality into a gentleman and a savior of health. Despite all the money that center government issues to the college should be used in more decent manner. And moreover the government should bring more prosperity to bring out positive outcomes from the students.

Go for it if you are a study and sports person.

Placements: Talking about the placements, this is a medical college so there are no worries of placements as such. The college offers a large patient load and practise during internship so you get ample exposure of clinical skills so you can be placed easily in any government or private hospital. The package differs on whether you have done post graduation or not. But overall you can expect anything greater than 9.5 lpa atleast just after passing out and depending on location it can go easily above 12lpa. T...

Review of Government Medical College, Nagpur.

Placements: About 60% of students were placed from our course. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 80,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Many companies recruit students from here. The top role assigned to us in my course was plastic surgery, and I loved to learn it. In this college, I found many interesting things to do, and I loved this college.

MBBS is great for a career.

Placements: All the students from our college passout after a one year housemanship and have a bonded service to be given under the Maharashtra state government. The annual package of a MO is 10 lakhs. Most of our students take up post-graduation in various medical specialities and rest opt for government and private sectors.
