Good college facilities and infrastructure but with no college life .

Placements: A very high percentage of students was placed last year in private companies. There were nice companies like MRF and L&D. A lot of students were placed with average starting salaries like 12000. But some did get to work in Hyderabad and Mumbai with a starting salary of 23000. There were other companies too like TVS who provided large amount of placement last year .

Infrastructure: We were provided with great amount of facilities probably because the new electrical section was made just few years back. Every classroom has a projector and a separate laptop for use. The labs are pretty good with almost every equipment needed for our practice. The Library looks neat with a wide variety of books. College hostel is not available right now. And the canteen provides good food for an average price. There is no room provided for sick students. We have a large ground with both cricket and football teams with all the needed sports equipments.

Faculty: Well there are pretty good teachers along with average ones. They have the qualifications and knowledge. So I would say they provide an above average teaching quality. The syllabus actually changed this year and made drastic changes of excluding unwanted topics. They do provide us with industrial knowledge but it comes with lot of pressure. The exams are actually tough for lot of students. Even though the pass percentage is still high a lot of students passes with barely enough marks .

Other: The covid has taken valuable amount of time from us. So the semester is pretty packed and comes with a lot of pressure. Maybe that's the reason why we haven't gotten any kind of events like sports or arts day. There hasn't been time for anything besides studying from my first year Maybe it would have been different without covid.

This college is a good choice only if you want to pursue a diploma or polytechnic.

Placements: About 89% of the students from our course got placed. Out of 56 students, above 27 students got placed in good companies, while a few students opt for higher education. All students who tried for jobs got them, but students who have backlogs didn't get jobs and didn't opt for higher education. Among students who opt for higher education, about 96% of students are studying in reputed government engineering colleges.

Infrastructure: The course structure is good here. The boy's hostel has an old building, and it was established by the British government. There is a great ambience for students who have the ability to enjoy. The girl's hostel is a new building with updated things.

Faculty: There are qualified teachers, but few guest teachers are available. Some of them don't have much experience in teaching, etc. Some of them joined immediately after finishing their M. Tech. They don't know how to teach and handle polytechnic students. However, some of them are awesome.

Other: It is a government college, and you can't get admission without allotment order.

One of the famous and good Polytechnic college in Kerala.

Placements: It is one of the best placement-providing colleges. Almost all students who applied for placement got jobs. About 90 per cent of students got the job. And many students got admission to B.Tech through lateral entry. The main role offered by my course is the position of supervisor.

Infrastructure: There is a library with a good collection of various books. And there are labs with all facilities. Wi-Fi is available in college labs. The college building has good architecture and a good location. But the college hostel is not available. Many private hostels are available at a very low cost though nearby the college.

Faculty: The college has good teaching quality. Teachers are well-qualified and well-educated. Yes, this college makes us ready to work in the industry. Semester exams are very strict and well-disciplined and conducted under various departments. The pass percentage of the Electrical and Electronics department is 89%.

Other: I am happy to study at this college. It has friendly and good helping teachers.
