The main difference between IOSH and NEBOSH is that IOSH is also a membership organization, the largest health and safety professional membership organization, as it goes. The main difference for you though will be in the qualifications, and you should find the qualification that suits your needs most, which won't really come down to the awarding body. NEBOSH doesn't offer membership, so if you are looking to join a membership organization where you can network, keep up to date with health and safety, and gain advice and expertise then IOSH is probably your best option. It brings with it plenty of benefits but how much you can benefit really depends on your situation and career goals, take a look at this article for some more information, and if you are interested, get in touch with the team at IOSH.
After IOSH, you can have a diploma in industrial safety if your age limit permits for applying for a Diploma.

Hello Naveen,
Shifting college after getting admission is almost next to impossible in today's world. This is so since admission is a long drawn process spread over many rounds and in each round the student is given choice to select his college. Of course it's a different matter that the student will get only that Institute which will be available for his rank in the entrance exam. As a result of this, to change Institute becomes very tough particularly so you want to shift from a private college to a government college. Because private college feels that they are losing money by allowing a student to quit and go to different Institute. Perhaps if you offer them full payment of the remaining term then they may allow you to bid for transfer but then there should be vacancy in your intended Government Polytechnic, then only you will get admission there. But, all in all I will recommend you not to go for this route and continue your Diploma in the present institution.
