Hello Eden, you are presently in the second year of your diploma course. Lateral admissions are giving to those students who have completed their diploma course. You will be eligible to seek admission in the lateral mode next year, when you will be completing third and final year of your diploma course. In the meanwhile, I would like to advise you to study well in your diploma since admissions under lateral mode are based on the marks obtained in diploma.

Hello! Tofiq Shaikh, you have scored reasonably well in your 12th examination. You can in fact seek lateral admission directly into second year of 3 years Diploma course. I feel that you should get admission even with this percentage in this institution. I am basing my judgement on the fact that last year many seats were lying vacant across different institutes for Diploma courses and all these vacant seats will now be available for direct admission for those who have passed 12th. You can check on the website of the director rate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra for detailed information about admission related queries particularly for lateral admission process. Best wishes to you.

Hello Vishakha, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your diploma from the government polytechnic in Mumbai. I am afraid that I could not find any supporting information on this issue. It could be that government entities are not interested in prescribing any cutoff for any courses. You must apply immediately online.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Rutik, from all the available information, it is clear that this institution does not prescribe any cutoff for any of the courses it offers to students. This may be due to many different things. May be because this is Govt institute or number of applicants is not too much as compared with intake capacity, etc. To help you, I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of admission in this institution.

I must say that by doing diploma, students gain a skill. They have the choice to go in for graduation in engineering also. So it's a win-win situation. You should not hesitate to accept admission if it's offered to you.
Best wishes to you.
