The mess food is of acceptable quality and hygiene, and the college culture is inclusive and diverse, with no language challenges. Student support services are also readily available, and academic life involves regular exams and tests, with a focus on practical learning through industry visits and case studies. The college takes strict measures for security and safety, with guards and CCTV cameras present throughout the campus, and outsiders cannot enter without permission. The college has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and students must seek permission to leave the hostel premises.Based on the five reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some students have reported that the infrastructure is good, with well-equipped laboratories and air-conditioned classrooms (Review 4). However, the actual cut-off percentage may vary depending on the number of applicants and the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.In the academic year 2020-21, the cut-off percentage for Diploma (Information Technology) at Government Polytechnic, Pune was 60% for the general category, 55% for the SC/ST category, and 50% for the NT/OBC/EBC category.The entrance examination for Diploma (Information Technology) at Government Polytechnic, Pune is conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The examination consists of two papers, each of 100 marks.
