The answer of your question can only be given by seeing the previous year cutoffs of this institute. In 2020 the JEE mains cutoff for general category for Btech CSE was 49974. So, although you belong to SC category and your cutoff will definitely be low, but your rank is very less. The difference is huge. The expected general category cutoff for 2024 is also around 19000 to 21000. Your score is very low if compared to the expected scores. You will face problems in getting admission at this institute.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}B.E./B.Tech at GBPIET Worth the Investment? Based on reviews from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Pros:* Good infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure, with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, and hostel facilities.* Supportive teachers: Many students praise their teachers' approachability and willingness to help with academic and personal issues.* Decent placements: While not exceptional, the college has a reasonable placement record, especially in the mechanical and electrical streams.* Scholarship opportunities: The college offers various scholarships to deserving students.* Campus life: The college hosts regular cultural and sporting events, providing a vibrant atmosphere for students.Cons:* Average placements in certain streams: Placements in certain streams, like computer science, may not be as strong as expected.* Limited internship opportunities: Off-campus internships might be a better option due to limited opportunities within the college.* Mess food quality issues: Some students report inconsistent food quality in the mess, while others mention that canteens offer better options.* Older hostel infrastructure: The hostel buildings could benefit from renovation, leading to some comfort issues. Conclusion:While GBPIET has its strengths, particularly in infrastructure and teacher support, it's essential to weigh these advantages against the potential drawbacks. If you're looking for a college with strong industry connections and guaranteed placements, you might consider alternative options. However, if you prioritize a supportive environment and a well-rounded education, GBPIET could be a suitable choice. Ultimately, it's crucial to carefully evaluate the pros and cons before making a decision.Note: This answer is based on the provided student and alumni reviews and does not constitute personalized advice.
