Comparison For MBBS Between Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and Grant Medical CollegeComparing Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre (DYP), with reference to Grant Medical College (GMC) for an MBBS degree, involves several considerations.Reputation and Accreditation: GMC boasts of being one of the oldest established medical colleges in India-the year, 1845, and it has a decades-long legacy of excellence in medical education as well as research. It has affiliation with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and also recognition with the National Medical Commission (NMC). DYP was founded in 1996; still holds the same accreditation by NMC, but does not have that great historical prestige.Infrastructure and facilities: D Y Patil is modern with newly construct infrastructure which has separate laboratories and hospitals.
