The selection process for the Executive MBA (EMBA) programme at Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) is a multi-stage process that evaluates candidates based on various factors. Here's a brief overview of the selection process:1. Application: Candidates are required to fill out an online application form and submit it along with the required documents, such as academic transcripts, work experience certificates, and identity proof. 2. Shortlisting: Based on the information provided in the application form, GLIM shortlists candidates for further rounds of selection. The shortlisting criteria may vary from year to year but typically include academic performance, work experience, and scores in standardized entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, or GMAT.3. Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a GD session to evaluate their communication skills, leadership potential, and ability to work in a team.4. Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who clear the GD round are called for a PI session with the GLIM faculty and admissions committee to assess their overall profile, including academic achievements, work experience, and extracurricular activities.5. Final Selection: Based on the performance in the GD and PI rounds, GLIM selects candidates for admission to the EMBA program. The minimum CAT score required for admission to the EMBA programme at GLIM is not fixed and may vary from year to year based on various factors such as the number of applicants and the overall profile of the shortlisted candidates. However, GLIM typically looks for candidates with a CAT score of 70 percentile or higher for admission to its EMBA program. It is essential to note that while CAT scores are an essential factor in the selection process, they are not the only factor considered by GLIM. The institute looks for well-rounded candidates with strong academic performance, relevant work experience, and leadership potential.

Great Lakes Institute of Management adopts a flexible approach to entrance exam scores for MBA admissions, without setting fixed cutoffs. Minimum scores, or 'Safe Scores, ' are determined after reviewing the overall applicant pool post-application completion. While indicative scores include 85+ percentile in XAT/CAT, a 600+ GMAT score, or 98+ percentile in CMAT, these are not rigid benchmarks. Exceptional profiles with slightly lower scores may still be considered, emphasizing a holistic evaluation. Conversely, high aptitude test scores alone may not secure admission if other aspects of the candidate's record are lacking. Great Lakes prioritizes well-rounded candidates with strong overall track records, acknowledging that test scores are just one aspect of the comprehensive selection process.Entrance ExamsIndicative ScoresXAT/CAT85+ PercentileGMAT600+ ScoreCMAT98+ Percentile

The minimum cutoff for MBA at Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) for the 2023 batch has not been announced yet. The institute considers various factors while shortlisting candidates for the final round of selection, including academic performance, work experience, and performance in the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, and GMAT.In the past, GLIM has set a cutoff score of around 90 percentile in CAT for shortlisting candidates for the final round of selection. However, this may vary from year to year based on the number of applicants and the overall profile of the applicants. It is essential to note that while academic performance and entrance exam scores are important, they are not the only factors considered during the selection process. GLIM also places significant emphasis on work experience, leadership potential, and other soft skills. Therefore, candidates with lower entrance exam scores but strong work experience and leadership potential may still be considered for admission. In summary, while there is no official minimum cutoff for MBA at GLIM for the 2023 batch, candidates should aim to score above 90 percentile in CAT or equivalent scores in other entrance exams to increase their chances of being shortlisted for the final round of selection. However, candidates should also focus on building a strong overall profile through work experience, leadership potential, and other soft skills to increase their chances of securing admission at GLIM.
