The college is great overall and thus it is one of the best in West Bengal.

Placements: My batch is still in the middle of the course and we will pass out in 2025. Basically, the top recruiting companies that come to our college are many, like Oberoi, Taj, Leela, Hilton and many more foreign brands with foreign postings with a good package.

Not very happy because of bad placement campusing.

Placements: Only 30% students were placed through campusing, rest have found jobs on their own. Avg 12k-15k per month package is offered. 80% of students got internship from this course in variety of 5 star Brands, such as Hyatt, ITC hotels, Sheraton, Taj, Radisson etc. We barely get M. T (Management Trainee) offer. So the common roles we get are associate level posts.

One of best hotel management College in Kolkata.

Placements: I started Diploma course in 2019 in this college. In the beginning they told us their placement is very good even they provide jobs abroad too. Actually the statement was right, many seniors got placed in good hotels in India and abroad, we were unlucky this pandemic came.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members as they all are very cheerful individuals.

Placements: There are like 150-200 students in our batch. All the tie-ups are different companies. Some recruiters of our college are Hyatt, Marriott, Sheraton, Novotel, Radisson, Taj, Westin, Hilton, Lalit, ITC, etc.

It is a good college with a big and beautiful campus and good infrastructure.

Placements: Top recruiting companies include Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc, Marriot International, IHG Hotels and Resorts, etc. Our course offers every kind of role in all departments of the hotel or cruise lines. We are doing online classes, and it is still not time for internships.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management.

Placements: Our college gives false advertisements. Many of our students say that many good seniors are not getting proper placements. Our batch is affected due to the global pandemic. Yet we did get a few campus drives, but none has come back with any results.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management.

Placements: Our college provided decent placements initiated by the college. A lot of the students opt out of the placement opportunities and walked their path and got jobs on their own. Many have got management positions from placement as well. A bunch of reputed organisations was lined up on campus.

Faculty members are very good, and they understand us. I am happy to be part of GNIHM.

Placements: Companies visited here for MT, and some of the students got select for MT. Our college invited very good properties like Taj, Marriot, Oberoi, etc. Students also get abroad internships. Many of my senior friends got internships in 5-star properties in many places. Some of the students get an HR position also.

Infrastructure is good, but the facilities are poor.

Placements: Only around 20%-30% of the students get placed each year from college. Many students apply for walk-in interviews because few top-rated brands visit, and they also select very few students. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.

College is quite good. Scope for improvement is there but placements are really good.

Placements: The college offers 100% placement guarantee. My batch is still studying but the senior batch was placed successfully in 5 star properties. Each and every student gets internship in 5 star properties either in India or abroad as per their choice. Top roles offered are supervisor, line cook.

Not so satisfied with the infrastructure and for the placement also.

Placements: Till 2018 it was good in terms of placement. But as of now it is not up to the marks. Most of the good companies does not come during these days. Even if it comes it does come with only associate level positions. No management training programme are not being offered by the companies.

This college is really good. Go and apply for NCHMCT or MUKOUT course.

Placements: Mainly 90 seats are provided by the college but in this year we have 80 students. This course is under the central government. This is conducted by the NCHMCT and have IGNOU also. Placements of this course is great. Top properties use to hire. Like Taj Bengal, oberoi, etc. Chain hotels, resorts, stand alone hotels, etc.

Overall, Guru Nanak Provides great placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Students got placed in reputed 5-star properties with a salary starting from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 18,000 per month. Gurunanak is a home for students who live in the hostel.

Placements: Only 3% to 5% of the students were placed. The placements were not good at all. Companies like Accor Hotels, Taj, Grand, etc., have visited our college for placements, but they only offered jobs with a salary of about Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 14,000 per month that too outside of Kolkata. If the job location is in Kolkata, then the salary package ranges from Rs. 9,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month. Nobody can survive with such payouts. Working hours are more, and we have to work too hard. ...

Good placement and good infrastructure.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student. Our seniors are placed in 5-star hotels. Every student got an internship in aboard. The stipend is good there, but in India, it is only 1500-2000 per month. In aboard, there is the good stipend, but firstly you have to pay for visa and travel charges, but there you gain more than what you have invested.

It is one of the best college and the placements of 2015/2016 are the best with a 90% placement.

Placements: The placement was pretty good in the college, and I must say that around 80% of the students got the highest salary which was around Rs. 58,000 per month, while the lowest was Rs. 18,000. The recruiters like the Taj, Oberoi, Lalit, Cafe Cafe Day, etc., have visited the college. The roles offered to the students were of the chefs, the front office, housekeeping, etc. About 100% of the students got an internship with the highest stipend being 3,000 and the lowest being Rs. 1,500 per month. The faculty members are good, but the college doesn't bother about our knowledge.

Placements: Management trainee, executive trainee and GSA roles are offered in Indian and international brands both in India and abroad. But the placement percentage is low. 3 out of 10 students got placed from college. The college should provide MBA exposure and let the students choose a particular genre before the internship.

It provides good faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Faculty members are very supportive, and you will eventually get placed in a good place. They provide good brands for placements. I am looking forward to my turn to get things sorted. It is quite good for placements.
