Basically, the students select them because of corresponding curriculum that is much rigorous, well-skilled teaching staffs and great placements. Among other programs, BSc in Pharmaceutical Technology remains as one moves towards the forth as a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences involving research, development and manufacture. Other courses offered in this institute under specialised fields and which are highly sought after by pharmaceuticals include Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.

The anticipated fees at GNIPST for the first year of B.Sc courses are about 1.2 Lacs but later it drops to around 1 Lacs per year for other academic years. Nevertheless, accommodation and food costs would come on top of that and they could amount to another fifty or sixty thousand more without any interest rate charges. More importantly, GNIPST provides some scholarships and waivers that help students in severe financial problems. Besides, if your family has a low income you might get some government scholarships or assistance as well. A three-year B.Sc course would approximately cost four to four and half Lacs which may seem too cheap compared to what GNIPST provides in terms of quality education and facilities.

It is hoped that GNIPST cutoff list will come out after WBJEE result announcement. As WBJEE examination is scheduled for April 28, 2025, and the results are expected by June 6, 2025; therefore, it can be said that the GNI PG cut off list may be declared around June or July of 2025. But however it should be noted specifically that there might be some changes in date and to obtain more precise real-time updates one needs to visit GNIPST’s official website or directly call them up in their admission office.

GNIPST has a superior placement record in comparison with BCDA College of Pharmacy and Technology. Both placements statistics for these institutions are quite impressive but GNIPST seems to have an edge in terms of its strong relationship with major pharmaceutical industries as well as its good name. Additionally, GNIPST has a robust alumni network which dates back many years; therefore attracting top notch pharmaceutical recruiting companies. On the other hand, BCDA College of Pharmacy and Technology is also another commendable institution that has different strengths. Some students may seek their campus or even availabilities from faculty members aside from looking at their placement records since they are equally good. Preferences and targets eventually guide one’s decision-making process best. Alternatively, if you would like to enroll into a college that has broader connections with an industry but marginally higher placement rate, then GNIPST would be appropriate for you. Unlike this, BCDA College can be the best for individualized education or opt for specialisation courses.

M.Pharma admissions at GNIPST are contingent upon the validity of scores acquired in either PGET, GPAT or CEE-AMPAI. Despite the unavailability of up-to-date cutoff statistics, it is worth mentioning that the 2023 WBJEE mark of 137974 applied for general category pupils. For precise information on admission criteria and cutoff scores, it is advisable to visit the official GNIPST website or contact the college directly. It is important to keep yourself updated so as to avoid any kind of confusion when trying to follow through with admission process and at the same time make sense out of choices in career development. Always remember that information obtained from unqualified sources may turn out unreliable hence verifying through official channels remains paramount.

For course and entrance exam-specific GNIPST admission application deadline changes, each year there is an approximate period of August to September during which GNIPST admission is open. While specific dates may shift; in general JENPAS UG counselling registration starts between August-September whereas first round of seats allocation occurs in September. Nevertheless, I would advise visiting the official GNIPST website or reaching out to their admissions office for up-to-date information on deadlines as they may not always be stable. Better safe than sorry by planning ahead so that you wouldn’t lose a chance to apply.

If you have not appeared in the WBJEE exam, then you are not going to get the admission in B.Pharma programme to Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST), Kolkata. To get into the program, applicant must sit and pass the WBJEE, JEE Main or CEE AMPAI entrance examination. Hence, there is no way for a candidate to get admitted in the B.Pharma course being offered at GNIPST without writing either of these entrance exams. If you are interested in this program, one of the required exams has to be completed during the next admission cycle and its preparation is necessary.
