Review of Guru Tegh Bahadur College.
Placements: Less placement opportunities were provided in our college. Small business industries recruited students with less salary packages. Paid internships were provided to students. I do not recommend students to take admission in this college.
Infrastructure: Classes were regularly conducted as per the course. Hostel was not available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, well-trained, and well-qualified. Extra activities were not organised in our college to make students industry ready. There were two internal exams based on the syllabus and a board exam conducted by BTE. The pass percentage was 33% out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a good programmer. Our college needs to improve the teaching method and add some extracurricular activities which are beneficial for students.

The college infrasture and campus is very good, Seniors and teachers are supportive.
Placements: My college is one the best Diploma colleges for placement drives, average percentage for attending the placement exams is 65%, almost every branch students gets selected in the companies who clear their exam and interview, top company like Tata Power has visited here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms here are in Excellent condition and library is also included, labs are also good, instruments and machines are in good condition, no hostel facility is provided here and canteen is well established and product is at average rate not to much. Overall facilities is good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and took good behaviour with students. They teach the students like friend. We have also internship during final year of college so it makes us industry ready. The difficulty of semester exam is average and passing percentage is 30.

I am satisfied with the teaching skills of teachers but not with the infrastructure.
Placements: If you score a minimum of 50% in your 10th class you can surely get admission to our college. Our college is poor in providing placements. No companies visit to recruit a single candidate. They provide good internhsips. Government jobs are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: No hostel was available in this college and canteen condition was very poor. A single menu was served every day and the food quality was also very poor. Hostel facility was not provided by the college.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members were very good. Every teacher was Ph.D. holder in his subject. The teaching quality was the best. The faculty for every subject was relevant and the prospect of the subject was in-depth. The semester exam difficulty was high as we expect.
Other: I choose this course for great learning. The best about the course is that you get a very professional job. The improvement in our course by the board is they have added more practical knowledge on behalf of theory. No events were held in this college.

    The college needs improvement.
Placements: We are automobile branch students. Only 10% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 10 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 1.50 Lacs per annum. The top recruiters are TATA etc. Only 50% of students got internships in Tata company, and the top role offered is a supervisor.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are below average. We don't have Wi-Fi facilities and the condition of labs, classrooms and library is good. They provide good quality food in the canteen. Medical and sports, facilities are below average.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful, but many of them are rude, and they don't talk well with students. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams are not much difficult, but the final exams are tough. Some teachers help us for clearing our exams, and they give us good marks in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the automobile industry. The college should improve the practical classes. There are no events and activities in our college.

Don't take admission in this college.
Placements: There are no placements this year. This college made every student a fool by promising placements and denying them later. Never try to take admission in this college. I suggest you choose another college over this college. It has very bad premises and bad teachers.
Infrastructure: There are very few hostels compared to college students. Students have to find their own PG to stay. Canteen and medical facilities are very bad. Games and sports facilities for students are very bad. There is no enough space or grounds to play on campus.
Faculty: If students attend the classes properly and pay full attention throughout the classes, then it is very easy to clear exams. But if students do not pay attention, then it is very difficult to clear exams. Students need a total of 60 marks to clear exams.
Other: Many scholarships are provided for students, like SC, ST and OBC, through the central government schemes. The campus crowd is very gentle. But the worst thing is that there's no event or fest.

My overall experience here is tremendous.
Placements: Most of the students get placed. Amazon and Ebay recruit from here. 75% of students got internships in companies. Software engineer and hardware engineer roles are offered in our course. I think it is the best college and value for money. I recommend this college to others.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good and hygienic. Buildings are clean. There is a variety of books in the library, and the environment is favourable for students who want to study. The classrooms are big and spacious. Medical facilities are top-notch, and we have many sports like cricket etc.
Faculty: All the teachers were tremendous and knowledgeable. They can fulfil any curious mind and can solve every query. The teachers are like the backbone of the college, and they give their best. This course makes students perfect for the real world. The difficulty level of exams depends on the preparation of the students.
