Just a normal government college, with lots of union members and not so good educational standards.
Placements: Our college has no active placement cell. Neither do the authorities plan for any such cell in future. Some job fair are organised sometimes, where few students get offers from some companies. However, mostly students here do not look for placements and opt for applying jobs on their own or going for higher studies elsewhere.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is not so good. Many classes have broken benches and unclear black boards. Often many light or fans malfunction, and it takes months for the authority for repair it. Our college does not have a hostel facility, however we do have a small canteen inside our campus. The food is decent in the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are to some extends helpful. They do cover the entire syllabus on time, but not in a way that can be understandable by all. The course syllabus is good and relevant to industrial standards. The semester exams are not very difficult if you follow the classes. Our minimum passing percentage is 35%.

Review of Gurudas College.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. Around 90-95% of B.Com students and 99% of B.Com honors students get placed in college. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Our college has aimed to provide placements to a maximum number of students with good salary packages this year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and beautiful. Its buildings are well-designed, and our campus is spread over 15 acres. Our college provides positive environment. Classrooms are well maintained. It provides student-friendly atmosphere.
Faculty: The relationship between students and faculty members is good and kind. Exams are challenging but fair.
Other: Our college offers various courses in different streams.

It depends. For Science and humanities stream, you can chose this college.
Placements: They don't provide any placements, but they have been trying with some companies, which mostly offer BPO, customer service, and service analyst types of openings. Ten students were placed there, but I think it could be better. As English majors, they could at least provide roles in our area of specialization.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, but the library is decent. However, the bathrooms are dirty, and there is too much politics going on on campus. The hostel is pretty decent, but the food in the canteen is overpriced and unhygienic. Annual sports events are held, and they are amazing.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but too professional. College tests were tougher than the actual university exams. The passing percentage in my session was 50–60%. You will learn only about what is in the syllabus, and they don't complete the whole syllabus by the semester.
Other: I chose this course as I had an interest in English literature. In this course, you will gain knowledge about its history and explore world literature.

Good college for general degree courses at low fees, faculty, and infrastructure are really good.
Placements: This is a general degree pursuing college mainly for graduation. So there is no placement from the college at least I don't know this because for the placement you need higher qualifications. But I good thing is that it helps to gain knowledge in various skills by adding on courses.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have hostel facilities but the infrastructure of the college is very well maintained. The labs are good and large. Wi-Fi and projectors are available in classrooms and classes need these things. The library is well-maintained and has a website for maintenance, searching and all the other stuff.
Faculty: In the department of mathematics of this college, teachers are very helpful, supportive, and qualified and years of experience in teaching. They always encourage students for participating in various type of educational programs and treats students as a friend.
Other: I like mathematics that's why I choose this course. Mathematics is a good subject which has multiple scopes. The event, fest of college are very good everybody loves the programs.

B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism and Mass Communication - Batch of 2022

It is a good college for students from middle-class families.
Placements: The college is good if you want a graduation degree. The selection was based on the results of the 12th-grade board. If you received more than 60%, you were eligible for honors courses. Our college had no placements. Internships were not provided by the college. You had to find jobs on your own.
Infrastructure: There was no hostel service or Wi-Fi available. The infrastructure for the journalism and mass communication department was full of culture and elegance. The department had the appearance of an art gallery or museum. There was a journalism studio with all the modern technologies like projectors, PCs, high-quality cameras, etc. The campus was very environment-friendly and safe. The campus was well-maintained and clean.
Faculty: This college was good for students who preferred Bengali. Our faculty members were good, friendly, and helpful. Students studying English may face a variety of challenges. There was no course book in English available for journalism. The Bengali students didn't face all these issues. You had to take your notes from the internet, and many topics were not even accessible at times. If you were an honors student, then you had to attempt 15-mark questions. You need to write at least 3 pages, which is the toughest part. Exams were difficult with no proper book or information available. The CU syllabus was vast and complicated.

My college review. Satisfactory college life and good teachers.
Placements: Since it is a subject-major course, not many students were placed; most went on to pursue a master's degree, and some prepared for government exams. I am not aware of any internships provided by the university, but they are available at the Ph.D. level. Students who pursued a master's degree were highly motivated to seek internships outside.
Infrastructure: As a Science department, specifically Physics department, student, we had a very well-equipped and efficiently working lab. We had lab assistants to always take care of any minor needs we faced. The classrooms were small but had a computer and a projector. We had a very large library and one library specifically for master’s students. Sports and medical facilities were okay, but washrooms and canteen facilities were not up to the mark.
Faculty: The teachers were more than qualified and had the skill set for teaching. They were strict but considerate. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:5, and teachers integrated personally with students, though not enough. Semesters were a bit tough at the university as we had to cover a huge syllabus.
Other: This has always been my favorite subject, and you learn about Physics from scratch. Our college organizes fests and seminars quite often. Freshers and farewells were also held, along with other festivities and camps.
