Life at Haldia Institute of Technology.
Placements: 89 % of students got placed from my college in this course. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA offers in campus placement. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, IOCL, etc. 95% students got internship from our college and the companies are Tech Mahindra, etc. Top roles offered by the companies are associate software developer, production manager, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities and infrastructure on campus like library, shopping center, workshop store, playgrounds, Wi-Fi, hostel, etc. Many classrooms have smart class and air conditioning. The hostel provides all essential things that's needed in the room of the student, like a bed, study table, chair, and attached washroom. Security and emergency wardens and ambulances are also available on campus only. Mess and canteen food quality is above average but not that good and all the sports ground are there on campus with indoor game facilities too.
Faculty: Professors are very friendly and helpful; most of the professors are M.Tech. pass out background only, and few have done a PH.D. They have deep knowledge in their own subject, but teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation to the students for all branches, especially the core branch. The program comes with communication and problem-solving skills. The semester exams are getting difficult after 2nd year in this college. 81-85% of students passed the exam.

My placement journey in Haldia college.
Placements: Our college placements are actually very good. Around 60–70% of students get on-campus placements. The top recruiting companies in our course are IOCL, HPL, Nestled, Asian paints, Ultratech cement, etc. The average package provided by the companies is 3-6 lpa. Students get internships at the college too.
Infrastructure: Talking about the facilities and infrastructure of the college, they are pretty good. The college provides all the necessary facilities for the students. The college has well-developed labs for practicals. The library of the college has all kinds of books. There is no hostel facility provided by the college.
Faculty: College management has provided the best and most qualified faculty in our course. All the teachers are properly trained and there way of teaching is impressive. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares students to be industry-ready. Teachers used to conduct various industry visits for easy understanding.
Other: Our college organizes various tech fest and events for the students. The campus crowd is very good. The environment at our college is very positive.

Placements: Actually, HIT Haldia provides one of the best placements among all private engineering colleges. The faculty members are very good. HPL, Asian Paints, Cognizant, and TCS visit this college every year. Overall, 100% of students placed in chemical engineering. The highest package was INR 27 LPA, the lowest was INR 4 LPA, and the average was INR 6 LPA, offered the previous year.
Infrastructure: At this college, the infrastructure is very good. This college has a deluxe canteen, Wi-Fi throughout the campus, and clean, computerized labs. The library at this college is big. The mess at this college is very good. The meal that is provided in this mess is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members at this college are great. An ex-IIT professor is also available at this college. Teachers are very friendly and help every student improve and develop in their career. I love my college very much.
Placements: Our college placement is pretty good. Many different types of companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini etc. came and provide this opportunity. They provide average package approximately 350000 and it's pretty good for us.90 percent students got internship in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college campus hostel is pretty good. Our college have Wi-Fi system in every room. And have lab for every department separately. And have classroom for every department and also have a mess and canteen. Medical facilities and a big play grounds. All students can play game in this ground.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are co-operative and supportive. They work hard for us always welcome everyone to ask anything. Discuss any problems. Most of them are having great academic background. Equipped with high-tech labs. The semester exam in our college are very easy.
Other: My total fees to complete my course is 273000. I have to pay this amount separately per semester. And this scholarship amount is 60000. And this scholarship amount helped me to complete my course.

Beautiful campus, hostel are not nice.
Placements: Very few students get placed here with good package. Other are left with average package not so good placement is provided here and a very good decision to choose this college. It is basically not a very nice option to take placement from inside the campus you have to prepare for competitive exams to get high placement from outside.
Infrastructure: There are three hostel for girls. For first year you might get a good hostel. But from second year hostel facility will be decreased. Hostel are not so good. There is no option for getting room alone in hostel you have to share it with 4-5 members.
Faculty: Exams and all are taken very seriously, faculty are good not As Good as government colleges. You have to take tuition and study extra for GATE and other examination. Few teachers are knowledgeable, not all are. You have to get tuition from outside and study well to compete in competitive exams. Labs are good but not is a good condition.
Other: There are few fest and event you can participate in which. Campus is beautiful but its lifeless. There is no such connectivity among senior and junior. Sometimes it can be nice and sometimes not.
