Hans Raj College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSc (Hons) and BCom, BCom (Hons), admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET-PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection

Great infrastructure among other Delhi University colleges.

Placements: In my course, last year 15 students were placed out of 47, with a median package of around 8-9 lakh per annum and the highest package reaching 17 lakh per annum. Top roles offered include data analyst and consultant, with leading recruiting companies being Deloitte, Blinkit, Zomato, and McKinsey.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is among the best in Delhi University. The entire campus is very clean, with cleaners maintaining it every hour. We have high-class labs, and the classrooms are well-maintained, equipped with AC. The library is good and has a variety of books. I don’t know much about the hostel, but it seems decent. The college excels in sports as well, with basketball and kabaddi being well-trained and achieving many accolades.

Faculty: The faculty is exceptional; the teachers are cooperative and conduct classes regularly, with very few cancellations. The semester exams are not particularly tough; if you are consistent in attending classes and study effectively in the last month, you can score well easily.

Other: Regarding my batch (2027-2028), it consists of 100 students this year, with a decent mix of commerce and science backgrounds. The teachers are good, and everything is running smoothly. Areas for improvement include the Wi-Fi on campus and reducing rigidity in the timetable. Events and fests are frequent; there's something happening on campus almost every second day, whether official or unofficial, ensuring campus life is never boring. Additionally, a scholarship has been introduced for students with an annual income under 5 lakh, providing aid and laptops from Dell.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and faculty.

Placements: Those who applied for placements have been placed at an impressive rate of nearly 80%. The highest package in my course is around Rs 15,00,000, while the lowest package is about Rs 5,00,000, making the average package approximately Rs 8,00,000. Companies like TresVista and Bluestone come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are well cleaned and maintained, featuring fully ventilated, air-conditioned environments. Wi-Fi service is available, and the library is spacious with a wide variety of books. The labs are also well-maintained, and the canteen at Hansraj is a central attraction, offering good and hygienic food.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They are cooperative and supportive, and their teaching methods are effective. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate, but thorough studying is necessary to achieve good scores.

It was a good college; the faculty was good and cooperative.

Placements: 80% of the top recruiters were Deloitte, Brain and Co., etc. The highest package at my time was 14 LPA from Maths in Brain and Co., and the lowest was, I guess, 4 or 6 LPA. Internships depend on how you apply for them; it’s just your concern regarding the roles that were offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was good, and the lab was very well furnished, neat, and clean. I was in the hostel as well, and the hostel was a grade given by the university at that time. Regarding food and other facilities, everything was good; the hostel mess was very neat and clean, and the staff was good.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful; semester exams depend on how you study. Yes, this course I completed is far better than doing any other course in my context, as my Maths faculty was very good and praiseworthy. They are cooperative in every context, whether in life or the future.

All about my college life.

Placements: In our course, most of the students opted for further studies, like pursuing an M.Sc., and the rest got placements in companies like Mecanzi, Deloitte, etc. The highest package of our course was 11 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. The majority of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are highly maintained, the classrooms have projectors, the library has all kinds of books required by the students for their studies, and the library has high-speed Wi-Fi. The hostel has nice and comfortable rooms and good food.

Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified, interactive, and very helpful. Our course has subjects that require us to understand data and visualization, which are helpful in firms. Our college conducts exams twice a year, and passing the CGPA is between 4 and 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I like math, the students enrolled are all like me, and the environment is nice. Our college has many societies and clubs and a yearly cultural festival.

Placements: Campus placements at DU would start from the final semester. Many renowned companies visited for recruitment including ABC Corp, PQR Inc., etc. These companies offered a variety of profiles ranging from finance to teaching. The highest salary package was 10 LPA. Approximately 80% of students secure placements each year. However, if campus placements were not available, students could go for higher studies.

Infrastructure: The library on campus had an extensive collection of books and journals.

Faculty: Qualified faculty members brought diverse expertise and practical insights using innovative teaching methods. Term exams were conducted punctually.

Other: I selected this course due to its perfect alignment with my academic interests. DU's well-designed course and balanced difficulty level made it an ideal choice. I underwent a selection process for DU admission, which involved GD, an interview, and a written test. Eligibility criteria for a specific course might vary. Moreover, the student-run website kept students informed about campus events and news. Life at DU was vibrant and enriching. The campus offered a bustling social life with various clubs and activities. The annual fest took place in February, while the tech fest happened in October.

BBA in Finance is the Basic foundation subject that you'll study in your MBA, but in B.Sc, you'll learn about science subjects. Whereas, in BBA you'll not study science subjects that's the only difference. Both can land you up in doing MBA.

Dear Ashi, Congratulations for this. Your marks is good. However for maths honors in Hansraj you should wait for 3rd or 4th cutoff. As last year, the cutoff for Maths honors at Hansraj was 98% or 97% in the first list. But your chances are high that you may get. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
