The admission process for BCom at Hans Raj College, Delhi is completely based on the scores obtained by the students in the CUET - UG exam conducted by NTA. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Mathematics, Accountancy, Book Keeping and Applied Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Those who qualify the CUET UG exam must register on the DU CSAS portal, fill in their college choices and go through the seat allocation process. The final selection while is based on the candidate's performance in the exam but students who do not have Mathematics or related afore-mentioned subjects in Class 12 do not stand eligible for this exam.Hence, it is both true Maths or related subjects among Accountancy, Book Keeping and Applied Mathematics is a compulsory must-have in Class 12 for BCom (Hons) admission at HRC.

The application process 2025 for Hans Raj College runs simultaneously with DU registrations for UG courses via CUET 2025 (for UG programmes) Additionally, for admission to postgraduate courses, CUET-PG registrations for the 2025 session usually start in Mar and goes till May . Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG. The Common Seat Allocation Process (CSAP) for UG admissions usually begin in July.

Starting 2022, Hans Raj College has stopped releasing the cutoff for BCom (Hons) and other undergraduate courses publicly. Earlier, the institute, along with the University of Delhi used to release the cutoff scores for different category students across seven to eight cutoff lists. These lists were based on the Class 12 scores obtained by the students. With the introduction of CUET UG, the process for the release of cutoff has seen changes. Now, students who have applied to Hans Raj College in their DU CSAS registration form (after qualifying CUET UG) receive an admission call, provided they meet the set score standards of the institute. For more details on the subjects, students are advised to reach out to the admission office.
