Internal Exams are important for SGPA but they are not deciding factors for pass or fail. So, if a student fails in internals he/she can still pass the semester by scoring good in semester Exams and also submitting the assignments in time. Overall, the student has to score 40% to pass so it includes Internals + Sem Exams + Attendance + Assignments. So, if one got 5 marks in internals he/she has to score 35 more from Semesters and assignments.

College life is good. There are several club activities happening every now and then. Academics are important but it is not the only part of this college. Fests were held each year pre Covid, hope it will be resumed this year. Apart from that you don't have to wear college ID everytime and there is no uniform so that's a cool thing. Seniors are really good and helpful and there is no ragging in the campus. Overall everyone is nice and helpful and you will find people sharing common interests and take part in those activities.

For CSE the general cutoff in 2022 was around 3k rank and for Civil the cutoff was 57k. Now this is the highest and the lowest to get into this college and the trends will follow similar this year too. All the best for counselling and hope you get your desired college and branch.
