The accepted exams are JEE mains/ HSTES. The Institute doesn't accept direct admissions, so appearing for the entrance exam is compulsory. Although admissions for this year are closed, you can apply for the next year, whenever the admissions are open.

Getting admission at Hindu College of engineering is not very hard. If we see the eligibility criteria, which is 12th with 45% (PCM) and entrance exam like JEE Mains or HSTES. So, if the admission were direct, admissions can be considered easy. But as the admission are entrance based, some competition comes in, so you need to prepare well for entrance exam. Although the average cutoff is not very high, but a favorable score is required. So getting admission is not hard but is somewhat competitive.
