Average college with good Academics but bad placements.

Placements: TCS was one of the top recruiters for our college till 2016 after that it has stopped visiting our campus. Their annual package was around 3.36lac approximately. For freshers. 130approx. Students were place from the 3 colleges of SGI group on Agra-Mathura road. The highest package was around 6lac p. a by Think and learn pvt ltd. A few others good names like NTT data etc. Also recruited from the campus. Average package was around 2.5-3lac p. a. There is an dedicated placement cell in our college ...

Disappointed with the placements in 2017-18.

Placements: We have got a placement cell over here. In my opinion it is not as much effective as it should be. As I am in my 2nd year of my course, so regarding placements I can only tell about my seniors which were not sufficient. The percentage of placement was about 50%. The number of core companies visiting the college were less so students had to go for other options. The highest salary offered was 9 Lacs/annum (non core) and average salary offered was 3 lacks/annum approximately. The college does not ...

Nice infrastructure but don't expect too much from the faculty members and placements.

Placements: Plenty of opportunities are available in terms of placement and lot of companies came for the 2018 batch. Nearly 50% of the students are placed till May 2018. The highest package was 9 LPA (in sales category in Byju's), and the lowest was as low as 1.8 LPA. The average package was 3 LPA. Among the multinational companies, following companies came during 2018 batch are NTTData, Direct and Smartprix. Some other companies include Byju's, Customer-centric, Bitniti solutions, Metacube etc. Around 50 ...

Good Infrastructure, Poor Teaching.

Placements: Placement were Okay, not the good though. Most of them were BPO (Business Processing Outsource) and there were a handful of good companies that were called in as a pool campus recruitment. And sometimes, For good companies, we need to go either GLA or other NCR colleges. Nearly 60% of college students were placed in our batch and almost same figures are for senior batch. The highest salary offered was 25 Lacs, in which 13 Lacs need to be submitted for security purposes before joining. The lowest...

Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the college. Hostel mess facility is really bad.

Placements: Placements depend on your talent but the college gives you enough opportunities to get a job. Many times you will have to wait for a core company. There are a lot of jobs in marketing here. There is a placement cell which helps you in improving your overall personality. Ashok leyland, Asahi glass, NTT data, etc. Were the top companies that visited during the ongoing final year. Internships are very less you have to arrange it yourself, college gives a recommendation letter in 2nd and 3rd year fo...

College is good if and only if you have the courage to do good, else you are just another fish.

Placements: Regarding placements, if you are from the branches like IT and CS, you would likely to get placed, but the students of other branches need to strive hard to get placed and that too at a low salary. One should be an all-rounder to get placed in a company giving a good package.

Overall, the college is average. The placements are average.

Placements: The companies that come for campus placements are not renowned. Branches like civil, mechanical, electrical, environment, chemical, automobile have to wait a lot for their core companies. Although most of the students from CSE, IT, EC got placed. Other departments have to wait a lot.

The review is about an engineering college.

Placements: The placement percentage is fine as it is around 60. The companies visited our college was like TCS, Cyient, etc. The packages offered by the companies are in the range from 1 to 4 LPA, which is not up to the standard. The college will surely provide the platform so that you can be confident in your life.

The faculty is the best. TND(training and development) provide extra classes and charge for it.

Placements: There are only placements in BPO and marketing companies. The placement percentage is only 30. The college rules are the best, but the placement is not better compared to the other college. The college provides the training and development course, but it has no benefit because a student has no interest in this course.

Satisfied with the college and the facilities provided by it.

Placements: The placements in the college can be rated as average as the companies that often visit the campus offer packages ranging from Rs. 3 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum. The highest package that was offered was 12 lakhs per annum by Infosys. Apart from that, a large percent of students get placed each year in on-campus placement.

Satisfied with the college infrastructure and opportunities.

Placements: The placements in the campus are average. The placements of my super senior batch were good enough as TCS appeared as the mass recruiter. The highest package was supposed to be around 12 LPA. Companies which came to the college are TCS, Capgemini, NTT Data and many more.

The college is good for those who can afford fees. Else, it depends on the student.

Placements: The placement of this year was average and approximately 40% of students got placed with a basic salary of 3 to 4 lacs. They did not promise 100% placements. Most of the companies are of sales and marketing fields and also offer BPO jobs. Companies which came for placements were Capgemini, TCS, Indian Army, etc.

It depends upon you and how much you extract.

Placements: Many companies visit and mostly call students at other colleges or their company offices. The average package is 2.8 lacs per annum but a few have also got 4 but they are very less. The companies which mostly visit are of the IT domain only. The placement & training department is very helpful but training and support are not provided.

Good infrastructure and facilities but bad placements and faculty.

Placements: Placements are not that much good in the year of 2017. Only BPOs and TPOs came for recruitment. Only 50-60% students are placed with the average salary offered as 3.3 LPA. The highest salary offered was 4.8 LPA and the lowest salary offered was 1.8LPA. The best company visited our campus was Amazon for the post of TPOs and BPOs. Also, they spend a lot on fake advertisements and promotions of having a large number of placements.

I am a bit dissatisfied because of the placements and faculty of civil engineering.

Placements: There are very fewer placements regarding the civil branch. Only marketing companies visit here frequently and they too offer very low salary, about 1.2 to 2.4 LPA. Only 1 core company and one semi-core company visited till now in 2017 and we are about to complete our last semester. Overall, there is a very negligible amount of placements in core branches.

No placement in core in biotechnology. Faculty is good.

Placements: The placements are not good at all, especially for biotechnology. Other branches still have placements in good companies. Marketing and BPOs are invited just to show 100%placement in the newspaper. The real scenario is pretty different. This year TCS was not called for an unknown reason but some of my capable friends got placed in TCS through off-campus placement. The previous year scenario was also the same.

Extra-curricular activities are not encouraged.

Placements: Placements are not so good here. Last time, many companies visited but the college but couldn't manage to give placements to all the students as there are more than 1300 students. So, the student end up in getting an average package of merely 3 lakhs per annum. The companies includes TCS, IGate, NTT data, Think and Learn, etc. The placements for the year 2015-16 was just 50%. The training and the placement department is just average.

Dissatisfied with my college and with poor placements.

Placements: Only 7 students are placed out of 54 students till now, that too in IT sector not core sector like NTT DATA, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra. No proper on campus drive has been conducted till now. Some companies have taken the tests but results are not out yet. The highest package is 3.3 lakhs per annum. College is not keen to invite companies for placements. Only IT companies visit our campus. No EC core company has ever visited our campus. Placements: The placements for our batch is low as about 10% students are placed till now. The highest salary offered is 3.2 lakhs PA and the lowest is 1.2 lakhs PA. The average salary is 1.8 lakhs PA . Not all the companies visited our campus. The roles which are offered are Associate Software Engineer, Marketing Specialist etc. The placements for computer science, electronics and electrical branches are quite high as compared to the civil and mechanical engineering branches. Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, last year around 198 students were selected in Tata Consultancy Services. If a student is from computer science, information technology, electrical and electronics engineering, he/she will get ample opportunities to sit in the company interviews. But, the placement scenario the for civil engineering branch students is not good. The average package offered in the placement is around 3.2 lakhs to 3.4 lakhs per annum.
