Placements: There are 2-3 students in the chemical engineering branch, and classes do not run regularly. Overall, if you want to study at Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Farah Mathura University is not a good choice. Don't pay the total fees at the same time; pay in installments.
Placements: It may be due to the recession, but in our college the placements were trash. They do not have a good reputation amongst companies so the good ones have blacklisted our college. Only the startups came which were offering bare minimum with bond period of 2-3 years. Also, there were some fake companies. There were some companies for which we used to fill the form but the company never conducted it's tests. Also, the placement cell is bad. They didn really care about students. They only scared abou...
Placements: I got 77.7% of marks in four years, and placements were very good. There was a department for placements but they do not take care of careers. Around 5% of students got internships and only a few students can take jobs. There was no help in this college. There were no recruitments, and I would not recommend students to take admission in it.
Placements: I am from CSE of 2017-2021 batch, and the placement condition is very poor. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Basically, startups visit the college for placements, and none of the students got the internship. Whatever records mentioned on the banner like achievements, etc., are due to the efforts put by students. However, some faculty members are good.
Placements: The placement of our college is mostly for CS -IT student. About 80% placement is for CS-IT. Mostly marketing-sales company visit college. They provide min 2 LPA to max 10 LPA. Whereas in core branches like civil, mechanical. Placement percentage is very low at about 20%.
Placements: None of the students got placed from CS branch. There are no placements. Top companies were TCS, Wipro, HP, etc. But none of the students was placed in them. Companies were offering average salary packages. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Almost 35% of the students were doing an internship on their own as our college doesn't provide this facility.
Placements: There were only 30% of the students got placed. The maximum package offered is 1.5 to 1.7 LPA. The companies offer the marketing jobs for the Computer Science engineering students. Only 12-15% of the students got internships, but they got them with their own efforts. The college doesn't support any students.
Placements: There are no good placements from this institution. Faculty gets serious about the placements when we are in 4th year. That's the reason only 72% of students in CS branch got the placement. My senior has such low package per annum despite being a topper. I think anybody with basic computer knowledge could get off-campus placement. Many companies had stopped coming, to the college. They prefer GLA students. My cousin got a placement with a package of 3.75LPA despite being a topper, and he has goo...
Placements: The college brochure says the placement percentage as 75 however in the recent years no good and renowned company had visited the college. Even TCS AND TECHMAHINDRA have blacklisted the college (source update). Moreover no good placement took place in the last 3 years except one and that was off campus which the college administration reports are theirs.
Placements: The placements in the college are very bad. No IT companies were there on the campus drive. All the companies come either BPO or KPO and one or two IT companies. They give placements to their highlighted students first in TCS drive, and they never let all the students sit in big companies. For this, they conduct a test in which you need to score well. If you are known to training and placement department, then you can also sit on campus drive.
Placements: The placement record of HCST is not so decent. They may show in their promotional banners and advertisements that n no. Of students got placed from this batch but actually there are very few well known and nice paying companies that visit the campus. Moreover, most of the companies that visit are BPO. However, few MNCs and companies do visit. The well know Japanese MNC NTTData visited last year for our seniors. 70% students from CS branch and 90% from IT branch got placed. The package was fair e...
Placements: Previously it was a very good college and the placements were good but now they have gone through a lot of degradation in terms of placement and quality of jobs they provide. The jobs are basically salesperson or customer care. They do not have any placement for civil engineering students and is they have they are like marketing and selling the flats. Computer Science placements are almost that type of customer ones. Biotechnology and chemical engineering are not having any placements. Electroni...
Placements: It is a very bad college. The senior batch told me that no MNCs visit the college. I think around only 20% of the students are placed from the whole engineering department. The college faculty are illiterate and don't even have knowledge of their specialised subject.
Placements: The campus placement is not that good. The companies have come to the college, but many of them are the BPO, the sales and the marketing company. Some of the core companies recruit only some students. But, the core companies which visit the campus are of the tier-3 grade which offers a very little package.
Placements: The placement percentage was 70%. More than 100 companies visited the campus. The lowest package was Rs. 2,00,000 per annum and the highest was Rs. 6,00,000 per annum. The companies were offering good profiles like developer designer, business developer and many other profiles. I don't think any of my batchmates got the internship.
Placements: Very bad placements record. No product based companies visit the campus. The only companies that visit the campus are BPOs and small companies that don't even pay well. No alumnus is placed at any good position. My seniors warned me to not to take placements from the college and instead prepare for off-campus and GATE.
Not at all satisfied with the college teachers. Yes, some of them are good, but majority in Computer branch are not at all practical. Faculty members aren't focused on individual knowledge. Moreover, teachers are meant to arouse interest in the candidate for the subject, which they are unable to do.
Placements are very poor. Every time they send students to Hindustan institute of tech and management for BPO companies drive. They have the worst policy for attendance and internal marks. They don't care for future of students. Management is rude and full of proud. Students are dumb there. If someone will not be able to pay the fee, the registrar will add additional fine like 500 bucks on daily basis. They do not allow student to appear in exams if someone is lacking in attendance below 60 perc...
First of all,its not a college, its a SCHOOL. 2 out of 30 teachers have the ability to teach, you can rely on your luck for getting those 2 out of 30. Numerous students in each class, a very imbalanced teacher to student ratio. Teachers in this college:1.5/10 Teaching Capabilities:2/10 Students are treated like kids, and they are always given lots of homework to do. The Accounts section is corrupt and insensitive to students, don't expect a bit of a help from the college if you are financially we...
