You have not mentioned about your Bachelor's degree, because Graduation is mandatory for doing the LLB course. However, admission in the three years Law course is done on the basis of rigorous admission test, in which out of thousands of candidates only 80(eighty) lucky students are admitted strictly on the basis of merit. The course requires successful completion of 28 papers over 3 years segregated into 3 yearly examinations conducted by the University. Hence if you are graduate with 45% of marks can participate in University admission test for admission in asked course.

Hi there,
Well, the choice between these two colleges is not difficult as per me as both of them are not much known for law as such though are good institutes. However, VIT University, Chennai is much preferred for B.Tech courses and also, it has better infrastructure, faculties and placements.
Now, if you were to choose between these two, then on the basis of faculties, infrastructure and the placements, VIT would be a good choice.
They have some very good recruiters for other fields of education which makes it likely to have good placement for law as well.
Also, the infrastructure is amazing which certainly helps you throughout your years of studies.
Hooghly Mohsin College is not a college that people take names of in terms of law even though it is an older institute compared to VIT.
But as of present status, the opportunities at VIT in terms of placements and exposure would be better. Thus, it must be preferred over.

Hi there,
Well, the on campus placements opportunities for law students from Hooghly Mohsin College are nil as of now.
However, you can expect to get a degree in law and as the faculties for law are quite experienced owing to their high qualifications. Also, you can expect a good academics. However, the college still doesn't have separate building for law section and thus lacks in infrastructure facilities as well. Moreover, the course offered is 3years LLB traditional course which again doesn't attract recruiters.
Though you can make your own opportunities after graduation as you may prefer litigation or judicial services or even UPSC and other competitive exams.
You won't get enough on campus but yes certainly after graduation you can expect to build your career.
Thus, the college doesn't offer any placement opportunity on campus as such but yes you get a good degree in law and rest depends on your CV and capabilities to bag jobs.
