Based on the IBSAT score, there will be a merit according to which an individual will be selected for the next rounds which are Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI).
In addition to that, During the selection process, you have to choose a particular campus, which I personally feel that you should go for IBS Hyderabad.
All the best!

All campuses are good. But If you are curious about a particular college, then I must tell you that after IBS Hyderabad, IBS Gurgaon and Mumbai are the colleges which are being preferred by most of the students. The reason for the same is that since Mumbai is a financial capital where job opportunities are more as compared to any other city in India, as of now. On the other hand, If you talk about Gurgaon, it is a hub for many reputed companies like Apollo tyres, BMW, Continental, Sapient and many others. Secondly, the companies that visit in IBS Hyderabad do visit in all the other campuses of the ICFAI Business School. The only difference is the packages offered to the students which ultimately depends on the ROI(Return on Investments). It means that the fees of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 7 lakhs and there is an average package of Rs. 5-6 lakhs whereas the fees of IBS Hyderabad is Rs. 14 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 11-12 Lakhs. There are many reputed companies which do come to IBS Gurgaon. Big 4's, do come to Ibs gurgaon every year. Companies like Oyo rooms,Expedia,CB Richards,Exponential,Copal Amba,Proctivity,Thomas International along with many others do come to IBS gurgaon. There are also international packages which do offers more than Rs 15 lakhs including CTC. Lastly, your query regarding work experience, it adds value to a profile of an individual but if you don't have the same, it will not be an issue since you are fresher.

IBS Hyderabad, Jaipur and Dehradun provides the degree of MBA but IBS Gurgaon provides a PGPM degree. By PGPM, I mean to say that it is an autonomous programme which is simply a combination or include the components of both MBA and PGDM. In addition to that, it is also according to the current trends of an industry. The answer to your question is-No. The affiliation won't be an obstacle at the time of placements-Whether through campus or off campus. At the same time, there is an exception of the same. If you want to go for the govt job or for a Ph.D., then in that case, you need to acquire an MBA degree for which there is a different procedure in order to acquire the same. Last but not the least, as I keep on reminding other students that not only IBS, but several other colleges like IIM, MDI etc. do provide PGPM degree which won't cause a trouble for them in case they would like to go for corporate jobs.

Congratulations on your success. You have cleared your first phase. Your second phase will be to strive for the best placements that visit in the campus. For that you need to focus more on the practical knowledge rather than theoritical. In addition to that, your skills and your work experience(If you have any) matters a lot at the time of placements. Your CGPA won't help you for that matter. Although, you need to maintain the same at a certain level as it is required for the selection criteria by the companies at the time of placements. That's all I can say about your query regarding IBS Gurgaon. I hope I answered your question. Secondly, the average package of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 5-7 lakhs including CTC(Cost to Company). There are also international packages which have offered Rs. 15 lakhs including CTC. Apart from this, in order to know the worth of a college, you should look for the ROI(Return on Investment) of the college. The fees of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 7 lakhs and the package offered to the students are Rs. 5-6 lakhs including CTC. Last but not the least, minimum and maximum package offered to the students depends upon various factors such as skills, knowledge, work ex etc. All the best!

In order to obtain an MBA degree, IBS gurgaon also offers an mba degree which is being conduct by IBS Dehradun on the payment of a certain fee i.e. Rs 25000 pa. Examinations for the same are also held in June/July/December/January every year and are conducted on Online/Computer based test mode for the MBA program. It's not formals everyday but on presentation day-Yes. The formals are required on the day of presentation because it carry certain marks as to how well you are dressed for the same. After all, you are an MBA student and an MBA student is required to dress in such a way as they can be considered as a role model for others. But don't worry, on any other normal day, you can dress as you like but that too must be decent, that's all I can say. Apart from this, If you are visiting any company or an NGO on behalf of your college or in search of an information regarding your project, formals are must as it gives a strong impression that you are not just a student but a professional.

Institutions like IIM, MDI etc. are not AICTE/UGC approved but they do provide a PGPM degree just like IBS Gurgaon. Even if these colleges are not approved by the same, they still hold a very good reputation for someone pursuing a professional course from these colleges. However, there is an exception that If an individual wants to go for a govt. job, they do ask for an MBA degree which means that a particular institution must be UGC approved. Since, there is a difference between AICTE and UGC. MBA is a degree offered by colleges recognised by University Grant Commission(UGC) and PGDM is a diploma offered by the institutes recognised by All India Council by Technical Education(AICTE). UGC is made for maintenance of standards of university education whereas AICTE is for technical and management education in India. As far as I am concerned, it does not make any difference if the institute is not AICTE/UGC approved. I also request you to inquire the same from an expert.
