I request you not to judge any college as good or bad; but have a different view to see the college on the basis of ROI(Return on Investments) and placements. The fees of this college is only Rs. 7 lakhs and the there is an average package of Rs. 5-6 lakhs. Although it depends upon the person to person how skilled he or she is. Talking about the placements, Companies like Oyo rooms,Expedia,CB Richards,Exponential,Copal Amba,Proctivity,Thomas International along with many others do come to Ibs gurgaon including Big 4's(KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, PWC). Also, I would suggest you to choose a particular college as per your preferences(ROI, placements, merit, fees, location etc).

From the college itself. There will be no difference as far as company and placements are concerned. Companies visiting the campuses are least bothered about the degree or diploma an individual is holding. All they(company) is interested in various traits such as skills, hard work, smart work, innovation, complete involvement, ownership and managing things in an effective and efficient manner. Apart from corporates, in case of government jobs, degree of MBA is a must. In addition to that, If an individual wants to go for Ph.D., the degree of same is required. That's the only difference between the two and no other difference exists as far as I am concerned.

On the payment of Rs. 25,000, you will be awarded with a degree of an MBA from IBS Gurgaon. As I keep telling other students, IBS Hyderabad, Jaipur and Dehradun provides the degree of MBA and IBS Gurgaon provides a PGPM degree. You can pursue the two at the same time since the examinations of an MBA will be held in the month of June/July/December/January every year and are conducted on Online/Computer based test mode. As far as your query regarding the two courses is concerned, the examinations for the two will not clash at the same time since the examinations for the pgpm will held in the month of August and December(Mid terms) and September and February(1st and 2nd semesters respectively). All you have to do is-Manage and manage it well.

Placement cell of any college is not different from one another as the duties and responsibilities are same for all the students. As a placement representative, I have not heard that there is a difference between a placement cell of IBS campuses. Although the functioning may differ from one another. Adding value to a college is something you must strive for. Not only placement cell, but there are certain other cell like Student counseling, Intern ship cell etc. do play an important role in order to provide value to the same. Difference lies in the way the students represent their skills and commitment towards their college.
