Absolutely you can take admission in PGDM healthcare management even after passing your graduation from commerce stream. You can choose whatever option you please and for your second query, it is not like that MBA is more valued than PGDM. You degree should be valid and AICTE recognized. Both have the same value. HRM is a good course but difficult to find a bulk of companies for placement but that does not mean that there are no placement at all. Being a 1st year student the current situation is that companies like Alkem, Saifee, Godrej, Cello and many other have come in and have chosen students to join there team and most of the students are placed for internship. So IES do have good placement scope for HR specialization.

From the industry point of view, both are equally acceptable. The industry does not differentiate. The advantage with PGDM is that the programs get updated more regularly to match industry's requirements, while MMS, being a university program, the revision may happen rather slowly.

Yes, IES MCRC is a good college for marketing among all, as I am a marketing student in IES. IES has the best faculty you would ask for, where in we are flooded with case studies and not only that we have a marketing club, where a lot of activities are conducted (Intra college as well as Inter college) and the best part is, it is a student driven club where in the committee can decide as to what new they want to do, and how is that to be executed. Taiwan trip is being organized mainly for marketing and finance people, and also Switzerland trip for HR, Marketing and Finance students.
