IIIT Kota offers BTech programme in two specialisations : Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. The cutoff score for BTech CSE for the year 2023 is 27979. 23619 and 22155 was the Cutoff score for the year 2021 and 2022 repectively. The selection to IIIT Kota’s BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

IIIT Kota BTech doesn't come free of course. Candidates have to submit a minimum fee of INR 6.8 lakh, after completing all the admission procedure.
