There may be some cases where two or more candidates score the same marks; in such cases, the following will be considered: - In the case of the same year's GATE qualification, preference will be given to the candidate who has scored higher GATE marks out of 100. - If GATE marks are out of 100 and the year of passing GATE for two candidates is the same, then preference will be based on the All India Rank (AIR). - If the marks out of 100, years of passing the GATE and AIR are the same, then the Date of Birth will be considered.
