Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) launched the one-year full time residential programme in management in 2006 known as PGPX. The programme aims for developing executives to accelerate their career path and assume leadership roles.
Students for this programme are selected through a rigorous internationally conducted admission process. The current thirteenth-batch of students carries an average GMAT score of around 700. The average experience of the batch is more than 8.5 years in a variety of sectors. The class represents a diverse range of industries including academics and education, aerospace and aviation, consulting and professional services, defence and security, energy and power, financial services, FMCG, Govt. service and public sector enterprise, healthcare, infrastructure, IT & IT Services, manufacturing, media and entertainment, NGO, retail, shipping and telecom and many others. The profile of the students in this programme is one of the best in the world.
PGPX Eligibility Criteria:- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline (Minimum 15 years of study as per the education system in India i.e. KG to 12+2+3 or 4 as the case may be) A graduate should have minimum 4-7 years of full time work experience post qualification.

IIM admission is totally based on your CAT score, your interview weightage and maximum 20% from your previous education, so next step after 12th should be you will get some good government college. You can get admission on merit basis it will give you the great help in PG admission also and start your preparation for CAT level exam.

The score is very low because you scored below 80%. So freely I am saying the chance is very much low. So, for this reason, try to score >99%. Best to do work for 2 years then go for it if you are only trying to go for IIMs.
