The PGP course offered by IIM, Ahmedabad is equivalent to a master's degree. Hence a bachelor's degree is a necessary prerequisite for the course.

Hi, I think matching the schools will be a more productive exercise if we compare them with similar programs.
The programme at IIMs that is most similar to ISB's One Year MBA is IIMs own One Year Full-Time MBA programmes, that like ISB's One Year Full-Time course, exclusively accepts candidates with work experience.
Now before you tell me "but, the PGPX/ EPGP are executive MBA courses" - let me clarify upfront that they are not. These courses despite the odd branding, much like all one-year MBA (INSEAD, Oxford) and two-year MBA programmes (Harvard, Stanford) outside India simply accept candidates with substantial work experience. Read this for more: Don't mistake it for an Executive MBA and this one too: The 3 Questions One Year MBA Grads in India are Tired of Answering.
As India's first globally accredited MBAs the One Year MBA at IIMs along with ISB's MBA is the first MBAs from India to have made a mark on the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking. More on this here: IIM A's PGPX Ranked No. 2 MBA in the World for Career Progression: Financial Times 2015 MBA Ranking
The two-year PGP at IIMs is in fact accredited as an MIM and not an MBA globally for this reason. (read this for more on this: IIM Calcutta bags AMBA accreditation & IIM C's PGP ranked 13th in Financial Times MiM Ranking 2014). MIM's are management programmes targeted at candidates with 0-3 years work experience as opposed to MBA programmes that recruit candidates with 3+ years of work experience.
So now that we are comparing similar programmes here is an exhaustive and excellent analysis of ISB's One Year MBA vs IIM B and IIM C's One Year MBA: IIM B vs IIM C vs ISB - Which one is right for you? which should clarify many of your doubts. As the article suggests, the choice is a personal one and depends entirely on your aims.

We can't say IIM-Ahmedabad is charging very much, but among the IIMs it is on a bit higher side. The facilities provided at IIM-A are really good as compared to any other college. IIM-A has world-class infrastructure in terms of classrooms, dormitories, computer centre, library and sports facilities. The world-class infrastructure created on the institute's hundred-acre campus provides an ambience conducive to stimulating learning. The architecture, classrooms, library, research centres and computing facilities all combine to provide a holistic learning environment.
A state-of-the-art computer network with more than 2000 nodes connects all the members of the institute's community with each other. This network has a fibre optics backbone with one or more fibre segments reaching every building at the campus.
A good library, all sports facilities, and good campus life is what IIM-A offers.

The cohort at IIMs and NUS is very different in terms of diversity and experience. IIMs have almost half of their cohorts fresh out of college whereas NUS has most of the participants who have reasonable work experience. Singapore being a finance hub attracts an extraordinary exposure in term of learning which IIMs and most top B-Schools in India cannot. Also, the median CTC that is offered at NUS is way higher than that at IIMs. If we see the course fee, the MBA from NUS costs around 40-50L INR whereas the fee for the full-time MBA from IIM A, B and C costs between Rs 17 to Rs 22 lakhs. The student pedigree at IIMs A/B/C and NUS is equally impressive. CAT percentile of 99 and above and GMAT scores of 720 and above ensure only the top minds enter.
The global MBA experience, in my opinion, is what makes NUS slightly better but if someone wants to pursue MBA without much experience, IIMs are an excellent option.

Hello Suvendu,
IIMs do not provide distance education. To get into an IIM you can only opt for regular courses.
Also to remind you that regular courses have much more value than distance education.
Think about it once.
Good Luck !
