Placements at IIM, Bangalore, and IIM, Ahmedabad:-
At IIM-B PGP 2015-17 placements there were 410 students. About 413 offered were made while 410 offers were accepted. Approximately 150 companies participated. Top recruiters for summer placements were The Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Aditya Birla Group, McKinsey, and company, AT Kearney, Bain and Company, Snapdeal, Cognizant Business Consulting, MH Alshaya, Flipkart, Airtel, Citibank, Hindustan Unilever among others. The companies which recruited from IIM, Ahmedabad include Accenture Strategy which was the top recruiter which was closely followed by Bain & Co 16. The other prominent recruiters were the Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Barclays, Avendus Capital, Citi Bank, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Microsoft, Cognizant, Google, Samsung, Wipro among others.
Courses offered at IIM A and IIM B:-
The two-year PGP programme in IIM, Bangalore, leading up to a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), is one of the most popular courses, It helps the students with the skills and capabilities to enable them to reach responsible global positions in management. As of now, there isn't. Although there is a part-time MBA offered in general MBA that is for experienced candidates.

It is very difficult for anyone to answer this question. If you enjoy working on complex problems, putting in hard work, networking with others, playing with numbers, or in general taking a larger perspective on things, then you would enjoy the future. On average if you are looking for a career in management then IIM-B is among the top institutes and the packages also among the highest. So yes, it can increase your chances of getting a fatter pay check.

Based on your credentials, I would say that it is not impossible but you need to score more than 99 percentile in CAT exam to get admission in IIMs.

Shiksha call predictor should be really helpful for you, although 32.6% in 12th might make you ineligible to apply for the top 3 IIMs.

Can I get a call from IIM-A, B or C? I got 85% in 10th, 75% in 12th and 52% in my B.Tech.
