The admission cycle for the flagship PGP courses of IIM-I starts in the month of August for the upcoming year's MBA admission batch. IIM Indore has adopted a three-stage selection process for admission to its PGP and PGP HRM programmes, which is as follows:

Eligibility criteria

All applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified for PGP admission. A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) is required to apply for PGP course.

Shortlist for PI

Only those aspirants satisfying the eligibility requirements will be shortlisted for PI round. Sufficient number of candidates for PI from each category will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on composite score. Candidates shortlisted for PI will be intimated in the month of January 2023. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for PI.

Final Selection

After completion of the above selection rounds, category-wise merit list is generated based on final composite score and provisional admission offers are made accordingly.

For admission to IIM Indore for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Indore admission.

The total tuition fee for IIM Indore PGP course ranges between INR 17.30 lakh and INR 35 lakh. The aforementioned fee is only indicative considering it is fetched from unofficial sources. However, as per the official website of IIM Indore, the overall PGP programme fee is inclusive of tuition fee, course materials fee, student’s stay and food during campus visits and other service facilities, such as library, etc. Students have the provision to pay the fee in installments. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the institute. 

Yes, CAT 2023 dates for admission to IIM Indore are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug 2 and Sep 20. The exam will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Students are required to appear for the CAT 2023 exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 for IIM Indore admission will be held in three slots. These are as follows:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Candidates who are willing to get into IIM Indore must mention the college name and course preference in their CAT application form to get a call (provided the student gets a valid score in the exam).

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Indore, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Indore are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

IIM Indore CAT Cutoff 2024 will be released soon after the declaration of the CAT 2024 result. For the past 3 years, the CAT percentile cutoff has remained 97. Looking at the past years' trend, there is a high probability of the CAT percentile cutoff to fall between 97-99. 

IIM Indore admission 2025 to MBA course is based on CAT 2024 scores followed by Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must note that for admission to IIM Indore, they are required to meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and also the sectional cut offs.

Accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (AMBA, UK based accreditation agency), the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management offered by IIM Indore is a two-year, full-time, and residential MBA programme. Spread over six trimesters across two years, it is also inclusive of a summer project of an eight-week duration. Step 1: Application Process-Candidates are supposed to fill up the online application form and attach the required documents and furnishing the details of application processing fee of INR 5,900 including GST deposited in the form of online bank transfer.

Step 2: Selection Rounds-After initial screening based on GMAT score, all the candidates short-listed for personal interview will be informed through e-mail. 

Step 3: Admission Confirmation-Subsequent to the interview process, provisional admission offers are posted on the institute website and shortlisted candidates will also be informed through post & email. To accept the provisional admission offer, a candidate must submit a letter of acceptance along with the commitment fee.
