By defend I mean either one of the two:
1. If you have reasonable explanation for the marks
2. If you can overshadow this by some achievement related to academics.
Hope this clarifies the defend part.

It would be better if you carry all the marksheets. It is not necessary to carry them if you have the new marksheet with you, but it is still advisable to keep it with you, as they can ask for it.

It is always advisable to carry all the marksheet which are available with you. Imagine how would it be like if they ask for it and you don't have it. Better safe than sorry!

Yes, absolutely! There is no criteria which states that you cannot. Just the fact that if you have to get an admission, you need to do well in the interview and when they ask, you need to convincingly explain to them why you could not complete

8 years ago IIM-Kashipur gives out call only on the basis of higher CAT percentile. Is there any other IIM which follows the same process?

As per my knowledge IIM Rohtak takes academics into consideration. Most of the other iims taking part in CAP consider CAT score itself as a shortlisting criteria. Please contact the respective institutes in order to get a clear picture.

The maximum international CTC was 43,31,248 for 2013-15 batch.
