The minimum rank needed for admission to IIT Delhi varies by course, year, and other factors. For the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme, the typical JEE Advanced rank required is between 90 and 1201, influenced by applicant numbers, exam difficulty, and seat availability. For the CAT exam, a qualifying percentile of 90 is required, but the cutoff for a Personal Interview (PI) call is usually around 98. Additionally, the opening and closing ranks differ based on candidate categories and quotas, such as differences between female candidates and the general category.

Getting into the Executive MBA (EMBA) programme at DMS IIT Delhi is competitive, but it is possible with the correct preparation. The programme draws individuals with at least 5 years of work experience, and the selection procedure prioritises academic credentials, leadership potential, and career accomplishments. The admissions process includes a thorough review of GMAT/GRE scores, previous academic performance, and professional experience, as well as personal interviews. Because you are interested in career advancement and leadership, you should thoroughly prepare for interviews and highlight relevant professional achievements. Although rigorous, DMS IIT Delhi's EMBA programme provides an excellent platform for students looking to improve their leadership skills and advance their careers. It involves focus and commitment, but the benefits are significant.

As of December 2024, IIT Delhi's Department of Management Studies (DMS) requires MBA applicants to have at least 60% in their undergraduate degree. Additionally, a valid CAT score is required for consideration. While DMS does not publicly release precise CAT cutoffs, competitive applicants often have percentiles greater than 97%. However, meeting these criteria does not ensure admission, as the selection process takes into account aspects such as job experience, academic background, and performance in group discussions and personal interviews.
