The Indian School of Mines (ISM), also known as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad, has a competitive CAT cutoff for its MBA programme that normally falls between the 85th and 95th percentile. The number of applications, the program's available seats, and the candidates' total CAT exam scores are some of the variables that can affect the precise cutoff each year. In addition to the CAT score, the selection procedure takes into account criteria such as work experience, academic standing, and success in the group discussions and in-person interviews that follow the admissions process. In order to guarantee a successful application, applicants are advised to strive for a score far higher than the minimum cutoff and to often monitor the official IIT Dhanbad website for updates.
