IIT Guwahati cutoff has been released upto 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and the seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply for admission to the BTech course at IIT Guwahati, candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects is the basic eligibility for BDes offered at IIT Guwahati. Further, the selection of candidates is based on the scores obtained by them in the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) followed by a counselling round conducted at the institute.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. Candidates wanting to enrol for an MSc course must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the course's requirements. Aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree in the Science stream with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognised institution. Additionally, the pass certificate and mark sheets have to be presented at the time of admission as proof of eligibility for verification purposes.

The selection criteria for the M.Tech programme offered at IIT Guwahati comprises a valid GATE score followed by COAP counselling. Aspirants with a valid BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ AMIETE degree with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI can apply. The GATE application process is carried out online (gate.iitk.ac.in). Applications must be submitted within the due date. The GATE application fee for boys is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students.

Candidates seeking admission in an IIT Guwahati MSc course must have a valid bachelor’s degree issued by a recognised university. Admission to the MSc course is based on merit in IIT JAM followed by CCMN counselling. The seat allotment is carried out based on document verification, seat intake, and category of the students, during the counselling. The total tuition fee for the full-time BTech programme offered at IIT Guwahati is INR 8 lakh. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are exempted from paying tuition fees.
