Admission to AVC College of Engineering for B.E. or B.Tech courses without going through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) process are typically not possible for regular government quota seats. Here's why and how it works: 1. TNEA Requirement:TNEA is a mandatory process managed by Anna University for allotting seats to engineering aspirants across Tamil Nadu. It is based on the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Class 12, ensuring a merit-based, transparent selection process. 2. Exceptions – Management Quota:AVC College, like many private engineering colleges, might offer management quota seats. These seats are not governed by the TNEA process. You can directly approach the college's admission office and apply for these seats. However, even for management quota admissions: You must meet the basic eligibility criteria (minimum percentage in Class 12 as per Anna University norms). Admissions are subject to seat availability and college-specific policies. 3. Steps to Apply Without TNEA (Management Quota): Contact the College: Reach out to AVC College of Engineering's administration to check if they have management quota seats open. Documentation: Be ready with your 10th and 12th mark sheets, transfer certificate, community certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Payment: Be prepared for a higher tuition fee, as management seats often come with an increased cost compared to TNEA-allotted seats. 4. Key Considerations: Management quota seats are limited and can be competitive or costly. Admission via management quota still requires you to meet Anna University's eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech programs. Ensure you verify all details with the college directly to avoid misinformation or middle

Yes, one can seek admission into B.E./B.Tech courses of Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TCE) other than through TNEA process. For students seeking to apply under All India quota, the admission is purely based on their performance in national level exams such as JEE Main. This would require applicants to have already registered and obtained a rank under the Tamil Nadu state quota, whereas direct candidates from other states without going through TNEA and applying through the college can take advantage of the eligibility requirements made available by the college.
