Top quality recruitment companies include.
Hindustan Zinc Limited, Sun Pharma, Hutti Gold Mines Limited, Indian Rare Earths Limited, Biocon, OIL Limited, MSPL Limited, Glenmark, Dr.Reddy, National Aluminium Company, Fertilizer startups, Nuziveedu seeds, etc. These cover different areas like petroleum refining, Plant Process distillation, fertilizer technology, processing of food and drugs and agricultural products management, paints and dyes; recycling metals and refurbishing, glass and plastics; cosmetics, and mineral based industries for fractioning and cracking based roles.
Average package stands at 6 LPA and maximum is at 15 LPA for chemical engineering specialization.
However, past year the team for placements has been increased and should see more top companies participating for 2017-18.
Overall decent opportunities in the chemical sector with a wide variety of roles.

Regardless, if you still wish to go to one of the IITs, IIT Madaras is a lot better place for you to take up aerospace engineering, only because of the advanced laboratories and the spectacular reputation of the faculty members at IIT Chennai.
Again, take up aerospace engineering only if you are really interested in the field, as there are not many core companies to recruit undergraduates in aerospace, and if that happens, you'll probably end up in any IT company like TCS, which will be a complete waste of your degree.
Although it is the best place for you start at if you intend to study further for MS/PhD. It gives opportunity for the top 10% percent students of the batch to get admission in the ivy league of colleges in USA, which is the entry ticket to the major core franchise present all around the world.
I hope you make the right choice.
Cheers!

IIT KGP has excellent placement record with average CTC of Rs 15.6 Lakhs for 2015-17 batch.
There are a large number of similarities between the curriculum of both MBA and PGDM. An MBA institute follows a fixed curriculum as it will be based on the university guidelines which occasionally may not be aligned to industry requirements. Autonomous institutes do not follow university standards, so it is have the flexibility to align its curriculum according to industry standards and change in the business environment. Some of the PGDM from IIMs, XLRI etc has more value than MBA. However, MBA of FMS DU, IIFT etc have similar value as IIMs. Students are advised to choose Institute based on its ranking not on nomenclature of degree.
Refer https://www.shiksha.com/mba/ranking/top-mba-colleges-in-india/2-2-0-0-0 for ranking ofB- Schools and their degree management courses.
