Campus at a glimpse, IIT madras NIRF 1, skills and innovation.
Placements: As per last year, it was 1.31 CPA, the highest package in some research fields, and the average package is around 15 LPA. Key recruiters include many major companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Deloitte. Actually, there was a 19% increase last year in the number of students who got internships. The recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, JP Morgan Chase, Adobe, and Procter & Gamble.
Infrastructure: As for freshmen boys, they will allocate the hostel Mandakini, and for freshmen girls, Swaranmukhi, which is the best hostel on the entire campus, has wonderful infrastructure. There are many department classrooms. But as for the first year, we'll be having new teaching classrooms, which is also very good. There are many labs for each and every department. There are many grounds for every sport and game. In fact, we'll be having indoor shuttle courts in the hostels. The food covers every menu, based on our food habits in the north and south, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. And we have an institute hospital nearby where they'll do a checkup at no cost.
Faculty: All the teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. All of them have there Masters in at least one of their specializations. They are very active with students, and they are good at clarifying doubts. All the things they teach make us feel interested in learning the subject. Ssemster exams will be relevant to what they taught in class. And the pass percentage is around 4 gpa in each subject. But as for placements and all, you should maintain a 7.5 on average before last semester .

Review of IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology.
Placements: Maximum students in our college are getting moderate placements and internships. The highest packages for my friends are even more than crores per annum. And the lowest is about 24 LPA. Up to 40 percent of the students have got internships.
Infrastructure: Being one of the prestigious college in india, the infrastructure in our college is well maintained. It has well Wi-Fi connection, classrooms, and library, besides this mess is simply excellent, sports arena are conducted every year. First aid is provided to the students and ambulance services.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful. They are well-trained and don't even use local language in the college premises. The curriculum is relevant and makes many students ready for the industry. The semesters are not too difficult, but the pass percentage of our college is about 96 percent.

Satisfied with the placements and other opportunities.
Placements: Really satisfied with the placement programme. Many companies do visits our college like google, facebook, amazon, etc. Every year about 95% of students grab the highest packages from the companies. The highest package of 64 LPA was offered by a company in last year and the least package is 8 LPA. Remaining students trends to go towards creating their own ventures. Internships opportunities are provided by the companies with the good stipend every sem.
Infrastructure: Campus is the cream of the college. A wide nature view with a good and healthy environment is our college IIT madras. Buildings are so advanced. Library is also provided by the college which have 4 floors with fully stocked books in it. Wi-Fi facilities is also provided in the library with many computer devices for computer branch students. Hostels are also neat and clean, each room has 2 cupboards, two desks with light each, 3 cots for student.
Faculty: Course curriculum is really good and faculty members are excellent I am interested in mechanical engineering so it took it. Every faculty member has done and holding the PhDs and other achievements. This college have the best faculty members around the whole country. They have high level of knowledge. Exams are comparatively difficult than all other exams. Academics are hard as we can say we have to study hard to score good.
Other: Two main fests namely shastra and saarang is conducted by the college. Shastra us a teach fest and saraang is a cultural fest and every week so many events are being organized.

About INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MADRAS.
Placements: I am actually a first-year UG student, so I don't know much about placements, but according to my knowledge, placement is really good in this college, and many companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook come to campus placements to recruit students in my course, mechanical engineering. There are vast roles like nanotechnology, robotics, machine learning, design, etc. Nearly everybody will get an internship in this college. The highest package is around 2 crores; I have no idea about the lowest package.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very neatly maintained, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere except some places, but in the library, there is very good Wi-Fi. Labs are also really good and well-maintained. Hostels have their individual sports facilities and Wi-Fi facility. There are so many grounds and sports complexes in this college; so much importance is given to sports.
Faculty: Faculty here is really good; they all are well-educated from very good universities and completed their post-graduation. Professors help students personally. Course curriculum is not that relevant for first-year students, but from the second year, it is very much relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult, but they are tricky; proper knowledge should be there to answer them.
Other: I was interested in Physics during my 11th and 12th, especially in Thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, so I opted for this course. I would improve the curriculum of the first year. So many events happen every weekend where everybody interacts with each other and spends time. 2 fests happen every year; they are Shaastra and Saarang, technical and cultural. So many scholarships are available for students who have economic problems.

Good for people to make connections. But bad for cultural ethics.
Placements: About 87 percent of students are placed. The other students go for higher studies. Or for research or business. The top roles are finance, quant, technical, AI and ML, consultant and core. The top recruiting companies are of Google, Microsoft, Jane Street, Optiver, etc. The average package is about 26 lpa. The highest is about 2.4 crore. The average CSE package is about 41 lpa. About 70 percent of students got internships. They generally get roles in product management, consultant, software development, AI, quant, etc.
Infrastructure: Everything was available. But it was sad that the library was not open for 24 hours. Wi-Fi was available in the hostel but the speed was slow. But in the lab, it was at an awesome speed. Classrooms are also good. The food was also average. There were north Indian and also south Indian mess. Whatever you like. You can choose.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful. But only for that course. They were highly qualified teachers. Even there were some professors from Stanford. Some were researchers, scholars and authors. They also provide Amus with lots of lab work. Which is relevant to industry. But for non-core. We need to prepare on our own. Semester exams were easy but the grades were based on relatively high grading.
Other: Fests are held in January. But that was also south-dominant. They conduct saarang and shaastra. Shaastra is the teaching festival, and Saarang is the cultural festival. The crowd goes from 90k to even 100k. I chose the course for a programme named IDDD, where I can change my mechanical course to courses like data science, robotics, etc. at the end of the 2nd year.

Q:   Is IIT JAM difficult?

A:

Experts share that the IIT JAM exam is difficult to clear. This is not because the difficulty level of the questions asked is very high but because the selection ratio through the IIT JAM exam is low. However, this does not mean that the questions asked in the exam are very easy.
