To prepare for the exam you may follow the following steps- Make a schedule to reach your goal while priortising your studies timely. Gather information and sources from where you would study like the desired books etc. Lastly, the most important one, follow a timely test system to keep a check on your results. 

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 167 and closing rank was 175. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 588 and 617.
