IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology Adyar Chennai Answered Questions

Both are good institutes but are knows for separate specializations. MICA is knows for Media related specializations & IIT madras for Engineering related domains. You need to decide what to pick up keeping in mind your interest areas and long term career aspirations.

Hi Faizan,There nothing like a particular CGPA to qualify GATE exam. GATE itself is an exam, which you need to clear with good scores. If you want to take admission in IIT Madras, then work hard to score good rank under 1000. Also, try to maintain a percentage of 65% throughout the semesters. Although, you should score more and more marks in semesters. It will give a positive impression of your on the interviewers. Best of luck.
