When it comes to pursuing an MTech degree, the eligibility criteria can be a real game-changer. So, how do the eligibility criteria for IIT Mandi and IIT Roorkee compare? Well, the good news is that both institutes have some common ground. They both require applicants to have scored at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a scale of 10) in their BTech/BE degree in the relevant field of engineering. But wait, there's more! Candidates also need to clear the GATE exam with flying colours to prove their mettle. GATE is a tough nut to crack, and rightly so—it's a national-level exam that tests your technical knowledge and aptitude in your chosen field. So, if you're considering pursuing an MTech degree, you better buckle up and bring your A-game!

I think IIT Roorkee with ECE is the better option as compared to IIT Delhi with mechanical. Because of the branch. In future, ECE has more demand than mechanical. Otherwise, both colleges are top most.

IIT Roorkee will be better as IIT Roorkee is a very good college with great placement offers. IIT Dhanbad in contrast has not much good placements than IIT Roorkee.
