Possible barriers so to say for student outside Maharashtra is largely Admission and this is not limited to ILS, it is the same for most colleges like GLC Mumbai, KC Law College, DES Law College. Earlier the process was posting documents to IL

ILS does not accept CLAT. It does not conduct it's own entrance test.
The admission is solely on the basis of score and ranking in MHT CET exam
