{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Here's a summary of the key points:Infrastructure and Facilities* The campus is vast (over 69 acres) with multiple Wi-Fi connections, clean classrooms, and a huge library.* Two canteens serve good-quality food, and there is a girls' hostel with modern amenities.* However, there is no boys' hostel on campus.Teaching Quality and Faculty* Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, with many having a strong industry background.* The head of department is experienced and supportive, and professors assist students with personal issues.* Semesters are challenging, with a focus on theoretical knowledge and practical skills.Career Opportunities and Placement Records* While computer Science and IT students generally have good placement opportunities, mechanical and civil students face limited job prospects.* Companies like IBM, PWC, Hexaware, TCS, Infosys, and others have recruited students from the institute.* Salary packages range from INR3 to INR6 LPA, with an average package of INR3.5 LPA.Challenges and Areas for Improvement* Limited practical experience and exposure in certain departments, particularly civil and mechanical.* Higher education institutions' limitations, such as rigid semester patterns and restricted academic flexibility.Overall, while ICOER Pune offers a decent educational experience, students must carefully consider their career goals and choices before investing in a degree here. If focused on computer-related fields, the institute may offer suitable options for growth and development. For those interested in mechanical and civil streams, additional exploration into alternative institutions may be advisable.
