Before you begin, you must ensure you have passed class 12 with at least 55% in maths and physics individually. This is mandatory. You need to visit the websites of different flying schools in India and apply for a seat. A few of them will organise an entrance test where you will face a written round, an interview and the notorious pilot aptitude test. It will be a good idea to apply in as many flight schools as possible, provided their entrance exam schedules don't clash. You must be prepared for science and maths related question from class 9 to 12, NCERT syllabus. Do brush-up your skills in english too. The pilot aptitude test will test your hand-eye coordination and multitasking skills, your need to have a flexible mind to make it in. Flight schools don't just take in people with no knowledge about aviation, so do some research on planes, air crashes and basics of flight.

Hi!
As the age limit is not mentioned for this course, you will have to connect with the academy directly. Also, you have not mentioned your educational background so your question needs a little more clarity.

CPL duration is not declared or precise as it is dependant on the infrastructure of flying school, geographical location, availability of navigational aids, serviceable aircrafts, instructors, weather etc.
Hence no flying school can declare the duration of CPL. As it requires 200hours of flying to be completed.
Generally it taken 8-10 months to get 200hrs of flying done if it is uninterrupted. Therefore you can expect CPL license to be issued in 1years time provided you clear your CPL issue exams conducted by DGCA parallel to the flying.

Hello,
Air Carnival Aviation Academy of Coimbatore was started in year 2008, under a different name, but has now metamorphosed into a full-fledged school of vocational skill based training in the sphere of Aviation. It is affiliated to Bharthiar University for some Courses and some of it's courses are approved by DGCA.On the other hand, Indian Aviation Academy of Mumbai is instrumental in giving training to skill based courses in the field of aviation industry. It has also wide bouquet of courses to offer to prospective students. It also has flying training courses. All in all, one can say that both these aviation industry related skill based training givers appear to be fine at first glance. However, one is in Coimbatore and the other is in Mumbai. It is therefore strongly advised that convenience and finance must be the two factors that should be decided during the time of admission.
