You cannot takes direct admission in Diploma in Jewellery Design course. First, you have to take admission in Jewellery Design Foundation course (This is 12 Weeks duration course).
The Diploma in jeweler design is 49 weeks duration course and students of Jewelery Design Foundation course can opt for Jewelery Design Diploma after the assessment of their work by their respective teachers in the 5th Week of jewelry Design Foundation Course.
All the others 3 design courses i.e.
1. Industry Oriented Design 2. CAD-Matrix 3.Styles Of Jewellery Design are being covered in this and after the successful completion of the courses students are awarded with Jewellery design Diploma certificate. The basic eligibility criteria for Jewellery design foundation course is class 12th.

Yes, obviously, it is legal to pursue your graduation degree and diploma degree at the same time. Earlier it was not permissible by the Government to pursue both the degrees at the same time because it may lead to overburden on the mind of the student. But, nowadays most of the Universities has made it legal under the UGC act. It is all up to you.
