IHM is always better. IIHM is not advisable. There are not affiliated to any university for formal degree. Please avoid if possible. It's a distance learning degree which is not allowed by UGC for HM.

IIHM is not approved by Government of India. The degree awarded by IIHM under judiciary probe by Supreme Court of India. IHMs are always the best option.

School doesn't matter as long as it recognised. The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue, the details of some courses is stated below:
Diploma Class 10th pass from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
