It offers postgraduate Diploma courses in journalism, advertising and public relations, and radio and TV journalism. IIMC has been ranked India's top media institute by IndiaToday, Outlook, and The Week-Hansa for 2018–2022. Some say it's probably the best institute in India. IIMC Amravati has a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot. It also has a scholarship programme that has awarded more than 1,500 scholarships since 1986.
