The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for postgraduate programs is a relatively new addition meant to accelerate admissions for different central universities, according to the most recent information available. It's crucial to remember that the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu's PG Diploma requirements might not currently require the CUET for admission. As a nationally known college, IIMC Jammu might have unique requirements and an admissions process for the PG Diploma program. Although the CUET is intended to serve as a common admission exam for central universities, certain institutions—especially well-known ones like the IIMs—may have their own entrance exams or selection procedures that are designed for their particular curricula. Therefore, for the most up-to-date and correct information regarding the criteria for the PG Diploma program, prospective students are advised to visit the official IIMC Jammu website or get in touch with the admissions office directly. Candidates can then find out with accuracy whether passing the CUET or any other particular entrance exam is required in order to get admitted to IIMC Jammu's PG Diploma program.

An absolutely fun environment: IIMC is known for it's fun classes and curriculum. Although it depends highly on which teachers you are assigned during your academic. Exposure: The level of exposure is amazing and extremely high if you're having on campus classes. There are a lot of events, conferences and internship experiences you can cash on.Learn and Unlearn: You get to sit with people from very different backgrounds. So there's a mix of amazing people under one roof. You get to learn something new everyday and that also means unlearning things you've been conditioned about.Practical approach: The college curriculum for every course is very practical. You will be engaged in projects, assignments, events almost every other month. Your schedule becomes very busy very quickly. And getting involved is the best way to make use of the resources being available to you.

The minimum cutoff is about 50%, however it goes updown on the base of the number of students appeared in the exam, number of seats, and the difficulty of the exam. The terms goes on by also clearing the interview.

The search results suggest that IIMC Jammu is a reputable school for media education, with a goal of promoting new ideas, creativity, research, scholarship, and innovation in a dynamic learning and working environment. Additionally, it is said that IIMC Jammu offers outstanding placement rates and that the maximum wage is offered. It is challenging to determine which IIMC Jammu or AIMC is superior because there isn't a direct comparison between the two in the search results.About IIMC Jammu :-In an effort to increase its national reach, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication established the Northern Regional Centre in Jammu in 2012. The center's first batch of 15 students may be said, and it started out of Vikas Bhawan at Railhead Complex. The center offers a one-year PG Diploma programme in English journalism, and in 2022–2023 it will begin offering a PG Diploma programme in Hindi journalism. Gandhi Nagar is home to the hotel and hostel for visiting students. The main campus would be built on 123 Kanaals at Keran, Bantalab, Jammu, according to a 2016 allocation from the Jammu and Kashmir government. On February 3, 2019, the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed the campus's foundation stone. The complex's construction is being handled by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting's Civil Construction Wing (CCW), which is based in Jammu. By the end of the year, the construction will probably have reached its peak. The faculty apartments, management block, and hostels for boys and girls are located on the main campus. It is also suggested that a community radio station be established on campus. The Jammu campus's aim is to establish an exciting environment for learning and work that promotes innovation, creativity, research, and scholarship while producing leaders and innovators in the fields of mass media, communication, and mass communication.
