In an effort to increase its national reach, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication established the Northern Regional Centre in Jammu in 2012. The center's first batch of 15 students may be admitted, and it started out of Vikas Bhawan at Railhead Complex. The center offers a one-year PG Diploma programme in English journalism, and in 2022–2023 it will begin offering a PG Diploma programme in Hindi journalism. Gandhi Nagar is home to the hotel and hostel for visiting academic members.Following are the One Year Post Graduate Diploma Programmes being offered at IIMC Jammu and Number of seats:PG Diploma in Journalism (English)- 17PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) - 20PG Diploma in Digital Media - 20The permanent campus would be built on 123 Kanaals, or roughly 15 acres, near Keran, Bantalab, Jammu, according to a 2016 allocation from the Jammu and Kashmir government. On February 3, 2019, the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed the campus's foundation stone. The complex's construction is being handled by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting's Civil Construction Wing (CCW), which is based in Jammu. By the end of the year, the construction will probably have reached its peak. The faculty apartments, administration block, and dorms for boys and girls are located on the permanent campus. It is also suggested that a community radio station be established on campus. The Jammu campus's goal is to establish a vibrant atmosphere for learning and work that fosters innovation, creativity, research, and scholarship while producing leaders and innovators in the fields of mass media, communication, and mass communication.

Hi Nishar, There's no mention of the entrance exam scores on the official website of IIMC Jammu. As of now, Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu does accept CUET PG scores to offer PG Diploma in English Journalism. CUET PG 2024 cutoff

Hi Nishar, There's no mention of the entrance exam scores on the official website of IIMC Jammu. As of now, Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu does accept CUET PG scores to offer PG Diploma in English Journalism. CUET PG 2024 cutoff is expected to be released separately by the participating universities. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks one has to secure in order to qualify for the exam.

From what I could reserach, placements at IIMC Jammu can be considered decent. Leading media houses such as NDTV, India Today, The Hindu, Hindustan Times, Times of India, Aaj Tak, Zee News, Doordarshan, Public Relations agencies, and government organizations are among the major recruiters.

The cutoff is 240 Then IIMC conducts entrance test and it is conducted by NTA which is online. The cutoff is based on the number of students appeared for the exam and the number is seats, difficulty of the exam.
