According to my knowledge mass comm. Is definitely a very good career after 12th journalism and mass communication is the best course which deals with mass media and journalism, photography etc. Although it teaches how to communicate with the outer world & for me Quantum school of media in Uttarakhand is the best college for mass communication as it is different from other universities because Quantum also focuses on interdisciplinary programs where the students can study major courses with minor courses, like economics, English, and digital marketing with journalism. And the fees structure is also very convenient for everyone so anyone can easily afford studying in quantum. It unfolds a whole new age of learning. It takes into account your aspirations and your passions. It is not just an institution for higher learning but a place where you would discover new talent, new passions in life.

Do they have an experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them? Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. Are they running any Media house? Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices? Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically? Do they have Industrial Tie Ups? Do they provide Teachings from external experts? Now LPU is coming on my mind because they do provide all above mentioned Salient features. LPU is producing smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For e.g.: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. LPU provides teaching by Doctorate faculty along with the handful practical study by experienced professionals.
LPU has Adequate/appropriate equipment which they use on regular basis for making their children well trained even practically. LPU have separate Professional Audio and Large size Video Studio. Whereas, Multimedia and Animation adds on the spark to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. LPU provides many platforms to their students to compete or perform even at National level events. Like National Media fests and other prestigious competitions. One of the LPU student won DADA SAHEB PHALKE AWARD few years ago. LPU has such a beautiful atmosphere where student can attempt to shootings or they can make short movies or documentaries. In fact, LPU students get opportunity work practically in many of the LIVE Concerts held at LPU. University has their own Narrow Casting News Channel and Web TV where students work as volunteer and few are on job taring. LPU has many Tie-Ups with prominent Media Houses. In fact many experts like Film directors, writes, Film Producers, Renowned Photographers, Renowned Journalists visits on regular basis. Online admissions are already open, one can proceed through their website. Aspirants can also call them on their toll free number.

You can study in either depending on where you are able to secure admission though I would personally prefer NL Dalmia for 100% placements and better pay packages. Why not try for ISB which is a Tier I Institute with far better education and pay packages.
