Hi, if you want to prepare for entrance exam of IIMC and other ones then you should read the newspaper daily and be aware of the current affairs and issues. Secondly, you should know about the different media, their current scenario and historical pattern etc. You must be updated with current affairs, new happenings, political, economic beats etc. You must also have a good writing skill in order to be eligible for the written test and must read the newspaper daily. After qualifying the written test you must prepare for group discussion and personal interview. All the questions asked in IIMC entrance exam generally covers current news, political decisions, government new policies and schemes etc. To have an idea about the exam pattern to can check the last year question papers for the various courses and prepare accordingly.

Almost all news channels will give you the breaking news, most of the newspapers will give you news of many areas, regions, cities, state etc. It is just that you have to focus to build your knowledge, awareness about current affairs, and command on languages (mainly Hindi and English). I would suggest you to read newspapers of both languages and news channels as well. And, moreover watch different news channels and read different newspapers, so that you will get to know the presentation in different manner of the same news.
